This is regarding the employee Tammy in the framing department. I have always been treated with respect at Hobby Lobby and have gone this store for a lot of framing, furniture and gifts. Justin in the framing department has always been professional and kind with great customer service. He is the one who has always serviced me. Last Spring I had an art show coming up and within a couple weeks prior, I brought in my printed photos and about 15 frames I had been collecting for the art show, mostly smaller, but a handful some 16x20ish for matting and hardware. I have come back with a couple more frames at a time since. A month ago I dropped off a three-piece frame set to get new mats, glass and hardware on. Justin delivered great service as usual. However, Tammy came out and when she saw my frames, acted completely rude and disrespectful, scowling, making angry faces, sighing, whining and muttering, “What is going on? What does she want? What? Ugh.” I think she recalled working on those 15 frames in the spring and didn’t want to do the work anymore. As Justin was measuring and totaling up my order, Tammy tried to jump in and say, “No, I’m going to make an executive decision and say we’re not going to do this!” (She said this because I wanted to keep the matting in one and get new matting in the other two. She said I couldn’t keep the old matting but Justin and I proceeded anyway. Not sure what that was about). She poked and prodded my frame and scowled, hissed and huffed and made a scene. I had never been treated with such disrespect by an employee before. I couldn’t figure out what was going on with her but figured she must be having a bad day. The other employees ignored her. I came back a couple days ago to get padding in the back of one of the frames installed because the picture was loose inside. With a lot of the other frames from the art show, the tape in the back came undone and the photos slipped out so I had to rip them open and duct-tape them. I told Justin about it, but matter-of-factly and kindly because I knew he would just make sure the back was taped with more than a couple small pieces and he did tape the back well, however, it was a bigger picture so it could use more support. Justin wasn’t there this time but Tammy came out with a bad attitude, huffing, scowling and wound-up and said that she shouldn’t be doing this, that it’s my fault it came undone (when I came in asking for the back to be sturdier – not complaining or needing a lecture). She was extremely rude, and lectured me in an angry tone, scowling and huffing, with a terrible attitude the entire time she was putting the frame together. I was completely shocked and turned off by this employee’s behavior. I tried to keep my distance but she kept lecturing me even from afar. She had the exact same attitude as the previous time I came in. Not wanting to work, complaining about helping me and saying there’s nothing that she could do. She could have been done within a few minutes if she hadn’t stopped and lectured me for nearly 20 plus minutes, causing me to be late to pick up my child from daycare. I replied only with kindness saying, that’s fine until she said, “You know, you came in here that one time with a bunch of frames and we had other customers.” This was the reason why she was so disrespectful to me: because I spent a bunch of money at Hobby Lobby getting framing work done on a batch of frames and she despised the work. I was shocked. I said, “You had a bad attitude the last time I was here, but thanks anyway for your help,” and I picked up my photo and walked to the checkout. I am still in shock over her bad attitude, lecturing and disgruntle approach to a customer. I have never been treated with so much disrespect in my life that I will never shop at Hobby Lobby again. I will now only go to other local framing shops such as Artisan Framing, Aaron Brothers, and Michael’s. I will also warn people about this employee if they are seeking a place to get framing done.

Their customer service is extraordinary at this location! With the sales rotations, products and prices cant be beat! I hadnt been to a Hobby Lobby for 15 years until a few months ago and perceived them as a craft store. They are a more like mashed up version of a Kirklands with a craft/art/framing store. And the cabinet knob selection is huge and high quality and half price almost every other week! Their decorative mirror collection is also notable!

I just thought Id mention that this Hobby Lobby seems to have a perpetual half-off sale on all their premade frames. They have a variety of frame styles that pretty much fit all the premade canvases they sell, which makes things real convenient and easy (and cheap). What would we poor artists do without the Lobby. (Although, on a side note, Jerrys Artarama is the place to go for the good paints).

The store, like many others like it, can be a maze to those who dont frequent it often. It can also be tough to find employees to help within that maze (kind of like searching for help while lost in a labyrinth. That being said, they offer a lot of great products at reasonable prices. Always use the online discount they offer (takes like 40% OFF an item). They are very friendly at the counter.

Its Hobby Lobby. When Im headed to drawing class and dont have supplies I stop in and they have what I need in a pinch. This location seems to have a ton of home decor stuff, although I dont buy that personally. Atmosphere is pretty bleak, but they do have a lot of art- and craft-related supplies at decent prices.

Always my first choice when I am shopping for anything crafty, or home decor. I absolutely love it! Since their expansion, I could spend a whole afternoon wandering through the aisles :) Staff is always very helpful and easier to find than in other stores :) Wonderful, happy place.

Although the atmosphere of this hobby lobby is nice, I will never go back for framing services again. The two simple glass cuts I requested for frames were given to me with chips all along the edges and corners. If you care about your frames, dont go here!

Im not one for the hobby lobby but my wife is. According to her its. Huuuugggeeee. And laid out all differently than other stores. We did find what we wanted and got a good deal with the 40 % off you can always get if you have a smart phone and their app
