While traveling to evergreen for business I choose this shop from other reviews and phone contact . I tried booking a 8 hour drift river trip and they didnt have any guides I could book 2 months ahead of time So I went and booked a wader fly fishing trip for my girl and my self When we arrived in town the guide did contact us and we returned the call This is where the trouble began!!! It seemed he didnt want to do the guiding the next day. he was negative in every way but holding a sign up and saying he didnt want to do it!!!! Not good I returned back to the shop and explained the phone call that just happened. They were as confused as I was about the call. They couldnt find another guide to do the trip!!! Didnt even think of switching another guide??? I contacted the owner and we talked for 20 min . He was nice but we still never got to go out in the water and do the trip that was booked 2 months ago. I would never book another trip with this outfitter or refer them to anyone that was interested in doing a guided fly fishing trip in Colorado. There are many other shops you can try

Me and my wife went on a half-day guided trip in Deckers with Chris S. (one of the Blue Quill guides). We both caught several nice fish including an 18" brown and 16" cutbow. He was patient with my wife who had never flyfished before and had her casting like a champ within minutes. He was kind and fun and it is VERY obvious he is beyond passionate about his skill which is top notched. He provided food/beverage and was timely. We highly recommend their services to any and all!

Being from Canada Im a little hesitant about buying hundreds of dollars worth of gear from an other country and a place Ive never set foot in. All of my orders here went smoothly except for the last one which was a bit of a mess and it was entirely my fault. The support team assisted me with as many back and forth emails as was necessary to insure I got what I wanted. Will probably shop here exclusively from now on.

We had the most spectacular day fly fishing with The Blue Quill. We were beginners and our guide, Chris Steinbeck, took wonderful care of us. He was outgoing, professional, enthusiastic, kind, supportive and truly happy to be out there with us. Even in the pouring rain. What a great experience and wonderful memory. Would do it again in a heartbeat. Thanks Chris and The Blue Quill. 5 Stars and two thumbs up!!

I really like these guys. They are knowledgeable and help to answer a lot of your questions. They are also the only place in town for you to find great quality fly fishing gear...they have just about everything for fly fishing. Also, this isnt just some "shop" or a corner of a store or something like that. Going to Blue Quill is like an experience...almost like going to Bass Pro is an experience.

Excellent shop with a great shipping policy: anything order over $5 is FREE to ship in the lower 48 states. This works great for me living in Las Vegas. Every time I have called there, I have received personal advice and great service. I cant say enough good things about this shop.

Great service. Had bought a reel and had it spooled at another shop, but something had gone wrong with it and they took their time to try and fix it and eventually replaced it. I would definitely recommend Blue Quill for all your Fly fishing needs

Hooked us up with Chris for a 4 hour fly fishing trip. We had never touched a fly rod before. Chris took the time to teach us the basics even my 12 year old was able to get it, Chris hooked us all up with some fish.
