We bought our SUV over a month ago. Randy seemed nice and honest. He gave us a fair deal on our trade in. We were buying a 2007 Ford edge with 60,000 miles. I had to drive an hour to pick it up which was no problem. I showed up on the lot and hurried up through the paperwork as I needed to get back to Fort Collins for an appointment. As soon as I got on the highway i noticed the car would violently shake when I applied the brakes at speeds over 35 MPH. It didnt due this when we test drove it because Broadway which is the street EMI Automotive is on does not go over 40 MPH and traffic was horrible. s I immediately called Randy and told him there is something wrong. He said no problem it probably needs the rotors turned. Ok so he said to take it to someone I trusted when I got back home and he would pay for the rotors. I returned home and made an appointment to have it looked at. After 2 hours of waiting they told me that the rotors were to thin to turn and unsafe and the pads were dangerously thin. They asked when I bought it and I said yesterday. They were shocked that a dealer would have sold a vehicle that was unsafe. Usually reputable car dealers will put every car through a safety inspection. This one obviously didnt. I called Randy and of course hes giving me the run around telling me that there is no way there that bad and I told him I would send him the notes that the mechanic took and also pictures of the brakes. Its been two weeks and I finally got a hold of him. He said he wanted to check with his guy and he would get back to me. In the meantime its been a month and my wife and kids are driving a vehicle that has unsafe brakes and doesnt stop safely especially at speeds over 35 MPH. I thought this guy was honest and reliable but do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. These guys are full of S#$% and cant be trusted. Im now filing a law suit and he will be getting served with legal papers from the Larimer county Sherrifs office if I dont here from him by the end of this week.

We recently purchased a car from Randy at EMI Automotive Group and it was hands down then most plesant car buying experience I have ever had. To start with, the office space is clean and inviting. Randi brought us into his office and talked with us very thoroughly about all aspects of buying the car...financing, trading in my vehicle, and gave a detailed history of the used car I was purchasing. I never once once felt pressured or uncomfortable. There was no "money man" that he had to go and talk deals with...it was all done right there and was done in a way that felt fair. Our purchase was not straight forward, and Randy spent a lot of time, talking with different loan offices to get us the best deal and get everything figured out. Once all of the paperwork was done, the car was filled with gas, taken through a final car wash and handed over to us in pristine condition. He then took us out to the vehicle and sat inside with us for at least a half an hour, going over all the various features and how they work. At this time, he found a button on the car that wasnt working properly. He asked what time would be convenient for us on Monday morning, to have the car picked up by one of his employees, taken over to Toyota to be fixed and returned. Im telling you...from start to finish, this deal and his entire staff were professional and we were well taken care of. One of the EMI guys came Monday morning at the time discussed, took my car, stayed with it until it was fixed, and returned to me. This young man was also very kind and professional. I hope it is quite some time before I need to buy another vehicle, but whenever it is, Ill be calling EMI for my car buying needs. I highly reccomend this dealership!!

TL:DR: Buy here!Honesty! Long story here but goes to show how awesome this group of people is. I was planning on buyin a older car they had on the lot and was planning on driving over an hour to look at the vehicle. Before i headed down i gave them a call to make sure they still had and i got to talk with a randy. He was very polite and after i told where i was coming from and what vehicle i was looking at he immediatly told me what the vehicle needed. He said that it needed the head gasket repair which ran 1,500 to 2,000. I told him i would give him a call back with an answer if i could still afford it. When i called him back i told him it was not possible since my mechanic says that it would cost me 2,000-3,000 because of the other things that would be replaced while he had the engine out. When i let randy know about this difference in price he immediatly said he would talk to his to team to revalute the price of the vehicle. After a while he returned my call and let me know that they dropped the price down by half and that they where going to t let a gentleman who viewed the car yesterday know about this change too. I told him i understood and then he suggested me that this car was not a good option and that i should pass it up. He says i could find somethign that worked out better for me out there but that if i kept looking at the same types of cars to make sure to look at the head gasket to make sure it was worth it. Amazing guy was definatly more about me then my money. These guys deserve your business they are honest and straightforward.

SO MUCH FUN! I had such a good time purchasing my car from EMI. Dave was wonderful to work with and so laid back that I felt no high pressure like I had at previous dealerships. I had reached a point where I wanted to stop lookingfor a car altogether because I felt like no one was listening to what I wanted. I viewed a car on the EMI website and began emailing with Dave. When I got to EMI, I asked to see the car and test drive it, and from there the process was so easy. No one tried to talk me into something I did not want and they spent as much time with me as I needed. Dave was easy to talk to and Louis dud a wonderful job finding me the lowest rate. I love my Mariner and would have probably ended up with something I ddid not enjoy as much if it had not been for Dave, Louis, and the overall atmosphere of EMI. Thanks for everything. Excellent car buying experience! We found a great car on EMIs website, and planned to buy it if everything checked out. Everything about our experience was very low pressure and not stressful. Unlike a lot of dealerships, we were able to test drive the car on our own. They stand behind the condition of their vehicles, but had no problem with us taking it for a used vehicle inspection. They sincerely did their best to work with us and get us into the car. Compared to a lot of other dealerships, their processing fee is very low.
