This Walmart tends to be cleaner the other Walmarts in this area. With that said it is still just Walmart so dont worry you will still get it the full Walmart experience... Busy checkout lines because there are only four open even though the store has 70 lines installed. It will take you 40 minutes to buy any electronics because they are all behind closed cages and the first employee you see wont have the keys or even know who does - this isnt his department you realize; you just walked half a mile to find him (so like halfway to front of the store). When you finally find someone to open the cage for you youre gonna feel like a champion for the effort. About those cages... they dont seem to stop anybody from stealing anything because there are always two or three cops out front busting somebody for shoplifting.The police have basically become Walmart employees. There will be tons of children running around totally uncontrolled crying and screaming while their trashy parents try to fight a homeless guy over a shopping cart. When you finally make it through this human zoo and pay for your $31 Chinese couch, $78 4k TV, $1 cinnamon rolls and 3.2% beer an old man standing at the front of the store will ask to see your receipt and he will pretends to be able to see the words then look at it and look at the stuff in your cart, wait a few seconds before telling you that youre good to go - the people who stop arent stealing anything. Its all the people walking behind him while you were getting interrogated; their pockets jammed full of all kinds of crap not worth stealing in the first place. Only to then get busted by the cops outside causing a huge scene. CONGRATULATIONS!! YOU JUST SURVIVED WALMART! ... Then you get blindsided in the parking lot while backing out by a 1980s Ford Pinto with cardboard covering the broken out windows and 27" spinning rims. Great its the people that were fighting the homeless guy. Youre gonna be listening to them and their kids for hours waiting for the cops to make a report. WALMART! LIVE BETTER!

Went in to get a 5qt jug of oil. I checked the website before leaving home to verify the type I needed was in stock. When I got to the store it wasnt on the shelf. I tracked down the area manager and asked if it was possibly somewhere else. Tony stated that this was his area and there wasnt any in the store. Then he just stood there without saying anything. I asked if hed mind scanning it since the website said they did and it was the whole reason Id come in. The scan showed it was indeed supposed to be in stock. To which he said someone must of bought them just before I got there. Yea, right. He again just stood there without saying anything. Alright, I asked if hed sell me five of the 1qt bottles for the same price as the 5qt. He just wandered off without saying anything. Apparently he was off looking for another manager because as I looked through the shelf to make sure it wasnt in the wrong place (something he hadnt thought of or bothered to do) he came back with another manager named Parker. He tried to explain to Parker the situation but although I knew what he was trying to say it was still confusing. I explained the situation to Parker and after a quick discussion they decided there was nothing they could be done. As I walked off I heard Parker say to Tony if hed done it before he could have done something. Whatever that means. Clearly my time, money, and overall satisfaction mean very little to these two managers. Their competitor was happy to take my money. UPDATE: After sending a quick note about the situation to Walmart corporate I get a call from manager Parker a week later. He tells me they could have sold me the 1qts at the same price as the 5qt but they just try not to do price reductions. BUT if I come in, and only if I come in, hed give me a $10 gift card. Apparently wasting time is this stores priority. Sure isnt customer service.

I have had okay customer service here and bad, but this experience was really bad. I attempted to return a $45 Jump Starter without a receipt. I knew it was a long shot, but the unit was unopened and I had returned items without a receipt in the past. Plus, a big sign above the Customer Service counter says they will return or exchange with/without a receipt. The guy said, No, so I pushed the issue. He asked me which day I bought it and I told him. He said he found my purchase and could process the refund. After scanning the item, he called over his manager and this guy said he needed to check the cameras. No explanation. He returned and said that I did not purchase the item and that the item had already been returned. At this point, Im more confused than anything. But I kept my cool. The manager said he could do nothing for me and I had to aggressively grab the item back from his hands. My guess is that more than one person bought this item on that Saturday, an idea that never crossed their feeble minds. These idiots need to think twice before insinuating that someone is a thief. Ridiculous.

Walmart, Lakeside Colorado, is by far, the BEST Walmart! Ive patronized nearly every Walmart within the Denver Metro Area, and outside as well. This is the cleanest, most organized, and well stocked..The aisles are comfortably wide, without a bunch of clutter, and mess..The employees are friendly, and willing to travel to the opposite side of the store just to locate a small item..The restrooms are always clean as well. Even the parking lot is clean, absent of trash strewn throughout, which is the case with a few other Walmarts.. Their customer base is even good. I must add, as a jigsaw puzzle enthusiast, they have the best, most plentiful supply of any other store, Walmart or otherwise. My family and I feel safe at all times of day and night, due to the constant presence of Lakeside Police whose Headquarters is located within the same lot..I drive past two other Walmarts to reach Lakeside, because its worth the extra miles. Its well worth it!!!

I informed the clerk I needed a large amount of cash back. He said it would be no problem. When it came time to get the money he did not have enough and call for someone to bring it to him. The clerk said it would only take a few minutes. After waiting 10 minutes I asked that he cancel the transaction so I could go to the service desk. He refused and said I had to wait, when I insisted he told me to stop talking and that I needed to wait. I got my receipt from him and went to a supervisor and reported what had happend. By then more than 20 minutes had passed and nobody had taken him the money I needed. This incident made me over 30 minutes late for an appointment. For a clerk to tell a customet to shut up is extremely wrong. I dont know what they did about it after I got my money and left. I eoild like to know. I hate going to that store and only go there as a last resort. It is located on 44th and Harlan near Denver Colordado
