I just saw John Qs review on here and I feel compelled to share my thoughts on working at this Target as well. I’ve had a similarly horrible experience and agree that the pay is less than all their competition and it is not a safe environment to work in. Something needs to be done. If you decide to work here you WILL be the victim of various forms of harassment from other employees and even some of the younger assistant managers. You will go to HR and the store manager multiple times with complaints of harassment and be told the problem will be fixed. Instead, the abuse will become even worse, more subtle and passive aggressive. You will be ostracized. Youll go back to HR and Jason and beg for help, but they will both side with the assistant managers over you. They will completely dismiss your concerns because they either don’t want or know how to handle the situation. Youll try to transfer stores but be told by Jason that you "have to smile and act happier first". You will suffer tremendous amounts of pain while you desperately try to find a new job. Youll feel stuck and lose hope. Youll fall into a seemingly bottomless pit of agonizing despair. Youll go on anxiety and depression medications in a futile attempt to stomach the abuse. Faced everyday with confronting the Hell on Earth that this place has become or homelessness, you may even contemplate just taking the easy way out all together.

Dont be fooled into thinking that Target treats or pays their employees any better than Walmart. Im an employee here (for now) and have worked at a lot of retail stores before, including Walmart. Despite Targets relatively hip and progressive image, their wages are actually much less than the Walmart down the street. And though it may appear that they are tolerant and diverse, the management seems unwilling and/or unable to protect its "Team Members" from harassment of any kind. The problem starts at the top with the store manager Jason. He is like the nightmarish spawn of a robot and Ayn Rand. He only cares about profits and himself, never taking others emotions into account. This is the most toxic environment Ive ever worked in and its no wonder that we have a crazy high turnover. Anyway, this is me hopefully "blowing the whistle" and asking for help from the higher ups. There needs to be a thorough investigation into the way this store is treating its people and hopefully some positive change will come out of it.

I noticed a few items missing and realized that one of the cashier accidentally forgot to give me one of my bags. I live pretty far away and just stopped to grab some things as I was passing by. When I called they had my bag at guest services. I explained how far away I lived and what happened. So I asked if they could just return the items over the phone using my receipt and card number. With todays technology I figured it would be no problem but Marilyn from guest service said it was not possible. I asked about my options and was told that I would have to come back and claim it myself. The two hour round trip was not worth it and it looks like Im out around $25.

This is the worst Target Ive ever shopped at. The store doesnt carry the same things as other Target stores do and the employees are rude. Wendy, floor supervisor, directed me to a different checkout lane during a busy time. I stood at said lane for a few minutes and nobody showed up. When I asked her about this she argued with me about what lane I was directed to, then said "I dont even recognize you." How about not calling your customers liars and maybe simply apologizing for the miscommunication instead. Im pretty sure this is basic customer service and would have gone a long way. Ill never shop this store again.

My wife and I shop at this target out of convenience. Our experience here is always the same. Every cashier is extremely rude and uninviting. Just today, as I approached the line the cahier glared at me and requested that I go to the self checkout. (I do this to help reserve jobs at stores) then, the cashier refused to greet me and even turned her back when I was using my debit card. She then gave me my receipt glaring once again. This is normal at this location and seems to even be accepted behavior by the management. Luckily we will be moving soon and I will not have to attend this store ever again.

I prefer this Target over any other location. The one that Ive lived closest to most of my time in Denver has been the Glendale location. That location just doesnt suit me anymore because its always crowded and they tend to be out of many things that I buy. However, this Northfield location generally has what I come into the store for and most of the employees are quite helpful and courteous. The store is much cleaner, more stocked (like I said before), and less crowded than the Glendale location not too far from it.

The security guards are not wearing uniforms and he followed me around the store calling me stupid and saying I wasnt short of pathetic. I will never return to this store as long as the management team allows their security guards to insult young women loud enough for isles and isles to hear. Not acceptable behavior and if you are a young lady and want to shop anywhere alone, this is NOT the place to go. I felt so unsafe and insulted by this man and I dont appreciate being taunted this way for shopping.

I was given a gift that was purchased at Target and ends up not working properly. I went to this Target to take it back and Moniqice the rude manager would not even entertain the idea of taking it back without a recipient even though another employee had looked it up and it was a legit product they sell but it had gone to clearance. I will never shop at this target or any other one if this is how they treat people and I will make it a point to let anyone I know the same!

Called to confirm whether or not they had an item in stock. Operator kept me on hold for 10 minutes and then hung up on me. Called back several times and just got dial tone. Website said the item was in stock but limited at their location, so I risked driving 20 minutes to find it. It was not there, and the associate actually said that they dont stock that item at their store. So, that was pretty annoying.

Bought a prepaid phone because mine is damaged and not working. The Employees helped with what they could but knowing i didnt have service on my phone to activate it. They continued to text and mess with their phones not giving me an option to activate mine, And pointed me to their very limited customer service phone witch would not validate the line i was trying to call.
