I just purchased a 2004 Yamaha WR250F and was warned by a friend and fellow Yamaha WRF rider that Coyote is a horrible place to go for Yamaha dirt bike parts as they never stock anything. He said the only place worth going to is way down south of me, however, I proceeded to give Coyote a try for myself as it is the closest Yamaha parts dealer. After visiting 3x and being let down every time I have decided to not even attempt going there for parts again. I have wasted three visits and three hours to drive to their super-inconvenient/hard to find location to purchase things I would expect a Yamaha parts dealer to keep in stock such as a clutch handle lever, carb jets, front brake line, shifter lever, spark plug tool, etc. All three times I went I felt like I was standing by for 20-30 minutes while they were searching through their computers and gigantic catalogs just to tell me that they dont have it in stock and it is five days out. Also, they dont seem to be very knowledgeable. From now on I will just order all my parts from Rocky Mountain ATV as they have been shipping to my house (from Utah) in just two days. If there is something I need right away I will make the trip way down south to the other Yamaha parts dealer (I will have to get the name of the dealer from my friend again).

Stopped there for a 8000 mile service for my 07 Yamaha Majesty! I am impressed with this place. Got to meet the sales, service, and parts staff. Very friendly and knowlegable folks there. Waited about two hours for my bike. I really enjoy dealing with this place. One of the best places that Ive been for service and social interactions. I would definately recommend this place. Got quotes for tires, this place was competitive with the internet. Took my scooter in to get a battery tender installed. Noticed that some screws were laying in the trunk.Took my scooter back after two week after noticing that some excess screws were left in the trunk. Kevin found where they went, made a quick repair and reinstalled them in the body panels even though they didnt perform the work without charging me. I really like this place. Thank You. Update after two weeks I lost my battery cover on the freeway. $105 later for the battery cover, I understand why the battery cover fell off the tech didnt drill a hole in the cover so the wire didnt allow the cover to remain secure.. Im pretty disappointed. Im going to try another dealer for service the next time to see how they do.

To start, I was going to buy a used 2009 Yamaha Zuma 125 scooter, and unfortunately they ended up selling it although Shaggy had it held (without deposit). Regardless of that fact, when I spoke to Brian about the issue he was very helpful and very apologetic about the whole thing. I bought a Yamaha Vino Classic from them in August of last year, so I wanted to go where I was familiar with the people and the processes. Today, April 3rd, 2015, I went in to talk about getting a brand new Zuma 125 and I have to say these guys went above and beyond to help me get into it, and at an unbelievable price. Some reviews on are are negative and I really cant understand why. When I was in the store, everyone was very helpful and very courteous. The other salesman, Sil (I think) remembered me from August and acted like wed known each other for awhile. If you want to work with honest guys who will treat you with respect, definitely go to Coyote Motorsports. Colorado Powersports may be a larger chain, however, in my experience, they just dont go as far to make their customers happy.

My experience with Coyote ranks among the highest I have experienced. First, the customer service was superb. They made sure my wife and I were fitted for the bikes that met our needs. All technical questions were answered to our satisfaction. Second, the prices were better than all the places we went to. Third, the bikes we purchased have held strong through all the conditions we have put them through. Fourth, we left there feeling that we received excellent value. Fifth, the owner gave us his personal guarantee, backing his bikes 100% and has since followed through with his word by answering every question we have had. Lastly, we enjoy our dirt bikes so much that we are returning this weekend to pick up a 2012 Super Tenere. There is no other place we would trust to give us the value we received at Coyote. For the reasons listed above, we will be returning next winter to get a snowmobile from this dealership. Definitely 5 stars. We recommend Coyote Motorsports to all our friends and family.

I bought an FZ-09 here last year and while I LOVE the bike, the purchasing experience was miserable. - They wouldnt let me test ride any bikes (not knocking them hard for this, but it would be nice) - I knew I wanted the bike and just wanted to purchase it, but I spent half the day listening to a salesman lecture me about why I shouldnt get the bike and I should get an FZ-07 instead (Im 62, so he was wasting my time with his unsolicited opinions) - The guy was a condescending jerk saying I couldnt handle the bike - Spent nearly two full days in the sales process - Bike was not ready on time Save your money and time and buy your bike somewhere else. Upping to two stars since Brian (Bryan?) did contact me and ask if there was anything he could do to make it better, but I still was not happy with the sales experience and would have liked to go in, buy the bike, and leave instead of haggling with the salesman and trying to convince him to just sell me the damn bike already.

Ive owned a handful of bikes, two Yamahas including this most recent fz09 and an R1, a Honda Fury, and a KTM Super Duke 990, but Ive only used Coyotes services for buying gear or fluids or just to look around and talk bikes with your sales guys. Today was the first service Ive used. It was a 6k milestone service and a check on my clutch pack (wheelies happen!) Nothing funky came up, thankfully...and Austin, Tracy, and whoever worked on my bike and the random crew in the back all deserve some recognition. I was handled professionally during in processing, during the service, and out processing. Especially leaving/picking up the bike, it was the end of the work day and the service guys that were around and I spoke to were really professional, not in a rush to call it quits, and took the time to just chat and offered to help me load my bike. I live north by about 25 minutes but make the drive, and will now continue to, thanks to these guys

It must be hit or miss on the service, they put my Apex back together with a zip tie, because they dropped the spring nut into the engine bay. They said they did not have any spring nuts in stock but instead of buying one at a local hardware store lets just use zip ties, not even the good zip tie. They did not even tell me they put it back together with zip ties. I called to complain and they said "oh yeah when it came in the spring nut was gone and the bolt was just sitting there" What a bunch of lies. The guy says he will send me the spring nut and bolt. Well over two month later no bolt or spring nut. The truth of the matter is my sled sat there (for over a week) until I called Saturday morning and asked if it was done and they did not even start on it until I called. They rushed the job and did not add the skid plate bolt I asked to have installed. 50% service (if that good) at 100% price.
