April 2013 When I walked into the dealership I immediately realized I was in a place where I could do business. Two days earlier I did my job as a consumer and went to several dealerships looking at motorcycles of all brands. My experience at a local Harley Davidson dealer was the worst, none of the bikes had prices on them which makes it necessary to talk with there sales people. Before getting a sticker price I had to fill out a form and an hour afterward I still did not have an accurate dollar figure. To make a long story short I walked out of the Harley dealership with several different monthly payment options and still did not know my interest rate or how many months financed. I did not buy or return any phone calls from that dealership. Fast forward 24 hours and I walked into Powersports to look at Victory Motorcycles. The salesperson, (Eric) was friendly and professional without using pressure tactics. We talked about the Cross Country and options. Without pressure I told him I would be back when the snow melted... Next morning I walked into the store and asked for a test ride. Smooth point and shoot kind of bike, well balanced and very minimal vibration, unlike the cumbersome bikes I was looking at two days earlier. To make a long story short, I filled out a credit application and within a short 10 minutes I had an interest rate, monthly payments and number of months financed in front of my face. The finance guy (Adam) said he could look around and possibly get me an even lower interest rate. No pressure tactics that cross the line of ethical business practices were experienced at Powersports. The customer service speaks volumes to me as a consumer and I proudly write this review and urge any consumer that wants to be treated with respect to make the drive to the nearest Powersports dealer. Follow-up from Avalanche Harley Davidson: I received at least four phone calls wanting me to come back and do business. Eight days later I received a Harley Davidson credit card in the mail which I did not know I applied for. I was told it was a simple credit app so they could check my credit report and determine financing. Im imagine some of the salesmen utilize ethical business practices at that dealership. Im just not the type of person that will be pushed into purchasing anything, especially when I do not know the sticker price, interest rate, months financed. COLORADO POWERSPORTS TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS WITH RESPECT!!!!!

I was in the business for almost 15 years. Ive worked in several shops, and worked on many different brands of powersports equipment. Now, working in a field where I speak to over 30 different people on any given day, its nice to hear what folks on the outside think. I know, for a fact, that there is no perfect dealership. In 15 years, Ive worked for some good, some bad. Ive dealt with folks that are easy to please, Ive dealt with folks that CANNOT be pleased.......ever. Being able to go to any shop in the area, THIS is the shop I choose to go to. Ive NEVER had a bad experience. At 47 years old, lets just say, Ive acquired the ability to sift through BS. The folks here are straightforward, honest, personable and KNOWLEDGEABLE. Two weeks ago, I had the opportunity to witness a VERY rare event. I was doing some business behind the service dept. An out of state rider missed the turn and ended up out back. He had a mechanical issue and was obviously stressed. Who wouldnt be? A technician noticed him and ran out to his bike. He worked on it for a good 20 minutes while the rider, helmet off, paced around the lot. After the tech had the problem fixed, the rider said, "Holy s#$t, thank you SO much! What do I owe you"? The tech said, "Nah, dont worry about it. Stay safe". "Cmon, I gotta give you SOMEthing, that was a half hour". "Nope, no worries". "I WILL be back.....someday". No BS, no embellishment, I was there. That does NOT happen very often. The place is clean, well organized, and comfortable. Best of all, the sales folks are NOT pushy. You wont have them crawl up your pant leg like other shops. If nothing else, just pop in and hang out. Its NOT your ordinary dealership, its better.

I took a YZ250F there in May to get it tuned up for the summer. It was becoming very difficult to start, needed some new tires and just some TLC. Everything started out well, they turned the bike around in a couple weeks and it seemed like I was getting what I asked for. I took the bike home and tried to start it. After 40-50 kicks I gave up and took the bike back. They had it a couple days and said it was ready. Took the bike home again, and it started, so it seemed OK. A couple weeks later we take it up the hill for a ride, and it wouldnt start. Took it back to them again and asked them to go through the carb again, because it just didnt seem right. Jeremy argued with my opinion and reluctantly told me they went through the carb again. I brought the bike home again, and it still wouldnt start. Now I didnt take the bike to them because I dont have the mechanical skills to do the work, but I travel a lot for business and just didnt want to spend the time working on it when I can afford to have someone else get dirty. So when they failed to get it starting reliably I finally took the time to tear down the carb myself. What I found was extremely disappointing. As I took the fittings apart, it was very clear that the carb had never ben taken off the bike and never completely disassembled. I did a complete disassemble and clean myself and wouldnt you know when everything went back together it starts like a champ. After spending more on the bike than its worth, I thought I would have been treated with a little more respect than I was. I would not take another bike there and would not recommend anyone else take a bike there either.

i purchased a 2015 ttr-50 last friday for my son, nick was super cool to work with , and was a good chat. we then attempted to finance a yz125 or yz250f demo bike. and yamaha credit fell short. ttr-50: they were able to negotiate price with me to get the bike out the door cash sale, and had some good deals on gear , so got my son all set up with a fresh look. bike seems to run great, and both my son and i are pleased. i love shanon and zach in parts as well we go back some ways and was stoked to hear they still worked there. yz250f: though negotiations went very well and every one was still very friendly , the finance managers stoped at the yamaha card when we were capped at 5500, and did not try a credit union or any other route as far as we know, the yamaha card has really high interest rates and is a revolving credit rather than instalment credit as you would get at a credit union loan. i feel the sales people gave up to early and i belive that showed true the very next day when tri cicty cycle got us financed with less down ,better rates and on a brand new un used bike that was the exact same price as the 250f demo bike at cps. all that being said, every one here was great , and i will of course do return business , however i feel they lost their own sale by not persuing other options. 4 stars for nick and the service department, and their bikes prices are fair. { fyi they just got the 2016 yellow 60th anv 450 in , so some one go buy that!}
