Sears is not the Sears of old. I purchased three products from them over the 12 months, a dishwasher and a compact washer/dryer set. Sears biggest problem is its management, lack of coordination and communication internally, especially between each other, and the inability to provide true customer service. My dishwasher broke down after one year, flooded my floor and basement ceiling, and despite my 5 year protection, and the seriousness of the dishwasher leak, Sears said it would take two weeks to get out to repair it. And if they do not have the parts on hand it could take up to 2 more weeks. They insisted they had not available personnel to help me. So I tested Sears - I called my local Sears store and asked them how long it would be to install a new dishwasher if i purchased one today and they said either next day, or within 48 hours! Sears will be "Johnny on the spot" today for your money, but could care less if their product is flooding your floor. The washer dryer combo I bought was supposed to come with a "stacking kit." And four times in a row over a 5 week period, a Sears installation team came to my rental property but failed to bring the stacking kit, each time claiming it was my fault because the combo I purchased did not come with a stacking kit. And each time I referred them to Sears own website which clearly show "Stacking Kit Included". They never did deliver it so I had to return the set. Home Depot did a fantastic job the first time. Dont use Sears, you will totally regret it.

I needed a special tool late a night and the only place that had it was the Alameda Sears. I called the store to check if they actually had the tool, which they did and they pulled the tool and held for me at the register. It was close to closing time and during my drive in, I got delayed due to a street closure from a wreck. I called the store and said that I was not going to make it before closing time. The associate said he would talk to the manager and see if they could hold a register open a couple minutes for me. I made it to the store a couple minutes after closing time and they was waiting for me with the tool at the register. I greatly appreciated the time and effort the associate and manager took to help me by staying open a few extra minutes to help me.

DO NOT BUY CRAFTSMAN LAWN EQUIPMENT, they do not honor their warrenty!!! I had a Craftsman lawn mower, a trimmer and a weed wacker (about 600.00) and I had each break or stop working within a year (or less) of buying them. The trimmer and weed wacker they replaced (those too broke before the end of summer) but they had me take the lawn mower to a shop and they just laughed at me and told me straight out that the cams they put into the mowers are weak at best and warp rather easy and they have it in the warranty that they will not replace and then tried to offer me a 800.00 lawn mower from another company. Tried to talk to management and the lady was what I consider rude at best and really didnt care. Ill never get taken again like that from there.

I went to Sears to do a return and they way the treated was so rude and so inappropriate I would never do business with them ever again. If u need to a return and dont have your gift receipt just expect to leave with your items because they are not willing to help. I am so upset. The supervisor and the manager had me on the verge of tears. They were so mean n so quick to judge. They are not helpful. I really need them,to be fired and hire people that is going to help.

Went in looking to buy a refrigerator and had a few questions. Found a couple of employees and when I asked for help they looked annoyed and went back and forth on who would help me until one lost and had to answer my questions. Decided to take my business elsewhere since they cant be bothered to help someone making a large purchase. Terrible customer service.

Ordered a washer and dryer. They called the night before to tell us it would be delayed for another two weeks. Now its night before and theyve called to confirm theyre dropping off our appliance in a box without installing-after we were promised upon purchase that installation would be included. 0 stars.

I have dialed their number 7 times , trying to reach at least anyone in any department so I can speak to someone , the automated system would give you list of departments and then no answer any department I chose. Frustrating after I purchased something from them and cant get hold of them...

Never buy tires at this place again, they service sucks,customer service horrible, they just still your money, if still have tires warranty n they dont want to do nothing about it, never going back to them n I saw reviews, n I saw there service is bad whit Hispanic weird .

Bought a whirlpool fridge here , got the 1 year warranty, fridge came.out defective literally 8 times they came and tried to fix it they wouldnt give us a new one now warranty is over and were stuck with the defective fridge, never shopping for appliances here again

Massively understaffed, every time I go here for an item Im ignored and have to get pushy with the employees just to get pointed in the right direction to find something. They do have a good selection of tools and other items, but more on the expensive side.

Called to get product info. The person on the phone said she couldnt find anyone to help her so I should just drive in to find out the price. I called twice the next day, was on hold both time and then hung up on both times. I have had better service.

Divine in electronics was great, and he went the extra mile to get us a slightly better Samsung tv for the same price as the one we had selected before doing some other shopping. Great selection and helpful employees, very competitive pricing.

Horrid costumer service!!!! I wish I could give them a negative star. Waited 27 minutes to even be acknowledged. Then was passed over to assist 2 other customers first even though I was first. Never coming to this Sears again.

Went to shop for washer and dryer. Told point blank its a waste of time as they only have certain sizes and nothing would work with the measurements i had so go somewhere else. Not offered other wise or further selections.

Sears is not what its used to be. I worked there for years and they have gone down hill. This location will be closed in 2 years. But, they do have great tools and appliences and staff who is friendly
