DO NOT PURCHASE A REPTILE FROM HERE. I would give 0 stars if I could. We purchased 2 snakes from them at Repticon in April 2016. The person running the booth guaranteed both were healthy, having been checked by a vet, and eating frozen thawed mice/rats. One of the snakes died shortly after we brought her home. We are veteran snake owners and currently have 12 healthy ball pythons, so we know what were doing and how to properly care for snakes. I called to inform them of the death and the woman I spoke to could not care less and told me to talk to their vet. The vet hospital I called had no idea how to track what snake I was calling about. The other snake we got from them at Repticon would not eat. We thought maybe he needed some adjustment time to his new environment. After a couple of weeks of leaving him alone, we tried again. Nothing, he wouldnt even act interested. Concerned he was sick like the other snake we had bought that died, I took him to our herp vet to run some tests. Luckily, everything came back normal. Fast forward several months after having tried everything possible to get him to eat frozen thawed, we tried live. He eats live. They lied to us. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

I am not sure about the glowing reviews the people who work here have no clue about Turtles. My wife stopped by and noticed they had some really African sidenecked turtles in a giant tank of water with no place for them to get out if the water. She spoke to the people there and tried to explain that they need a spot to get out of the water. They insisted they did not need any place to get out of the water. If you search for African sidenecked turtle you will read that they need to be able to get out of the water. Pretty much any turtle benefits from a place to lay out of the water. If they cant even do something as simple as a piece of land what else are they doing wrong that is not do obvious.

Both Nature Box Pet Emporium locations are CLEAN and all the reptile cages are very well looked after! They sell all types of healthy live feed for reptiles as well as anything you could possibly need for your reptile or its enclosure. The owners Chad & Elisa are AMAZING, both very well knowledgeable about reptiles and their needs. These two will go the extra mile to make sure you have everything you need as well as taking the time to help you troubleshoot any problems or concerns. Thanks to Chad and Elisa, I am the proud new owner of a healthy translucent veiled chameleon with a fully furnished new enclosure. This will be my main reptile needs distributor in the Denver area.

I have been to quite a few reptile shops in Denver Colorado area and this one is by far the best reptile shop Ive ever been in!!! The owners are very smart and knowledgeable and keep a very heavy business running, they take very good care of theyre many variety of of animals ... they have a great selection of feeder animals, and a humongous selection of reptiles and tarantulas and other animals... I love going to this place just to hang out and look at the new attractions Ive also bought over 7 tarantulas from there myself........

Nature Box has a huge selection of Reptiles and amphibians. I purchased a dart frog, as well as some supplies here. Their prices are competitive, more so with online retailers then local ones. Most of the prices I saw were just slightly above online prices, but by the time you pay shipping Nature Box is cheaper. They have twice the selection, a more helpful staff, and the place is far cleaner then any other exotic pet shop Ive been to

Finally a clean and fresh smelling exotic pet store! The difference between this place and its competitors is apparent right when you walk through the door. There is no rodent stink. There are no piles of junk. The stores are well lit and the animals seem very healthy. They have a wide selection of exotic pets they even sell tropical plants. Glad they are in town and hope they expand past the two stores they currently have!

We bought 2 terrarium and 2 dart frogs from them. They was very helpful and understanding with all our questions. They also gave us a discount on a used terrarium. This is also the cleanest exotic pet store I have been in. Their prices are also a little lower and in some cases a lot lower then petsmart and petco for exotic pet supplies.

Roaches are very expensive there and the large ones are not the size we were used to getting (much smaller) we used to get ones at least twice as big for $0.50 a piece and you could buy 45 for $15. Here they are double that price for half the size and no bulk discounts. I will not be going here for roaches or anything else. Rip off

We just happened upon this store a couple weeks ago & Im so glad we did!! We would go in every day if we could, just to see all the reptiles, amphibians, tarantulas, etc.!! They have a huge selection of items for great prices & the owner is amazing!! We purchased a tarantula from here & it is doing great!

This place is awesome! I was at the grand opening of the new store today and Lance helped me get everything I needed for my new Leopard Gecko setup. Really happy to have found both these locations - They are very clean and the animals all look to be in great health.

My only qualm with this store is the hours. The staff is incredible, the animals are very well cared for and I might go as far as to say it is the best reptile store in the Denver area... But the hours are weird, they close early and dont even open Tuesdays.

We used to go to Scales and Tales for our snake food, but this place is much closer to us. Not to mention that this store is much more organized and open feeling. The selection of products and live food is fantastic and the customer service is on point.

Great facility always clean and every animal has a beautiful display set up properly. I buy 13 to 16 feeders from them every week and they are great quality! Chad and staff are knowledgable and very friendly. Glad to have this shop close to home!!

The staff is very knowledgeable and down to earth the store is clean and they have an awesome selection of reptiles and products. Natures Box Emporium is my go to for all my reptile needs! But dont take my word for it go check it out

Very cool store! Extremely clean and well kept. Animals looked healthy and happy. Owners were friendly and welcoming. They also had a pretty unique selection of herps I havent seen in a shop before. Will definitely return.

This is a fantastic shop for all of your crawly critter needs. Staff knows their stuff and is more than happy to explain anything to you. Only tiny downside is that the prices to reflect the skill and quality here.

Best pet store by far. I bought my sisters bearded dragon from there and shes growing like a weed, she is also very healthy. Every week we go there to buy rats and we always have very friendly workers.
