Although it is a well-kept and nice looking store, the customer service was poor. It was my first time there, and no employee was at the front desk or even in the front area at all to greet us. We walk around for a bit, and all of a sudden I see this huge turtle stuck in the blind cords behind my mom. I said, "Uh, mom? Theres a turtle behind you". Both her and my brother turned around, and my brother got scared since it was so close behind him, and in turn I ended up spilling my hot chocolate all over me. So I looked around the store calling for anyone, saying that there was a turtle stuck in the blinds at that I accidentally spilt something and needed a napkin. Literally no one came out to help us until about 5 minutes later, and by then my mom had already gotten the turtle unstuck. We informed the lady at the front desk that the turtle had gotten stuck, and it was even bleeding a little on its two front arms and the sides of its neck. Along with that, it also had water around its eyes, so we think it was crying :( Surprisingly, the lady didnt really seem concerned. She said, "Oh no, was he? Poor thing, he was just up here about two minutes ago." Her sympathy sounded fake. Anyways, my mom is still holding the thing but the lady doesnt say anything else, so were like ok... and just set it back down on the floor. After that, I asked the woman if I could please get some napkins and a trashcan because I spilt my drink, and she doesnt say anything to me and just goes in the back employee room. About a minute later she comes back out with what I asked for, and I go to take the napkins so I can clean up my mess, but she just walks past me and cleans it up for me. I thanked her, and again, no response. All in all it was just a weird experience and the woman was quite rude, but then again I didnt get to meet any of the other employees, so my experience might have been different otherwise. If any of the employees there read this, I hope they take it as constructive criticism and not as a bashing review. Because other than that, the animals seemed to be fairly healthy and the cages were all clean.

If I could give it a 0 I would. We got my 3 girl rats from here. Not many weeks later one of them had kids. Thank god we are rat lovers. Now we have one too many rats. Not too long ago we got 3 free rats because of what happened to my girl rat. Well now they are sick. And the new girl rat we got has a good chance of having kids too. They cant keep the boys away from the girls. And we feel that if we bring back any of the babies that they would just be rat food. I would also say that I would not return my new girl rat because I wouldnt want her to become a breeder rat. It looks like they do not give them a real rat home. Not much love or healthy food. All in all this Business should just stick to birds and other things other than rats. And if you get a girl rat form here be prepared for it to have babies.

Terrible and rude staff!!!! I walked in looking for a pet. They wont have the kind Id like for a few days, which is ok, as the cage isnt fully ready anyways. I asked about bedding, toys, and needs for my soon to be pet, (did research but Stoll always good to get extra info) and they give me one word answers from somewhere else in the store! No human contact! Hello? I willing needed assistance. Heres your opportunity for you to sell me supplies ahead of time!!! Convince me to buy everything new! Im prepared to spend over 200 on an animal, so sell me 300 bucks on stuff!!!!! But instead they were lazy and just wanted to argue with me over getting one pet instead of 2. Im mad that Ill still have to buy my pet from them, but theyll never get the $387 extra bucks I just spent on suppies.

They are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Its nice to have a local shop that cares about their animals. The shop is always clean and you can tell the animals are well cared for. I go out of my way to get all of my reptile supplies to help support a great shop that is good to their animals and customers. Jennifer found out that our dog has food allergies as well and can only eat certain treats, so she special ordered them for us since they are difficult to find. I highly recommend Parker Exotic Pets to everyone!

This place has been our best friend since we adopted two sugar bears. They have given us knowledge and support with bonding with them. Even allowed them to come into the store and meet the staff. We get all of their needs from here and always leave with a smile on our faces. I highly recommend if youre the proud owner of an exotic pet to go in and check it out. Jennifer the owner is amazing and kind to all who come in. Its overall a very welcoming place and we will continue to shop here.

Absolutely rude customer service. They feel the need to scream across the store to tell you that none of their birds are for sale so you are not allowed to interact with them. They have no signs posted of this and dont give you any real information to help keep you from being yelled at unnecessarily. Chose not to buy the items in my hands and left. Will not be returning. Ever.

We love this shop. Hard to find items for our special critters, but they have it all. Not sure what they have, ask! I learned a lot the last time we were in. They can sell you some feed (mixed greens?) they mix for reptiles, roaches, horn worms, so much more. Cute exotic pets like hedgehogs, sugar gliders, axolotls, and more!

The owner of the store was very helpful and knowledgeable about sugar gliders. we walked out feeling a lot less overwhelmed about our new babies! We will definitely be coming to her for anything our sugar gliders may need! It is very hard to find good costumer service these days and I am grateful to have found this place!

The owner was great in communicating with us when we were looking for a lion head bunny. The bunny died in the animal hospital within a month of getting him. The get said he was born with a neurological disorder that didnt allow him to grow. We left several messages for the store and no one bothered to call us back.

This store is one of the best reasons to support local businesses. The proprietors are locals who have a passion not just to "sell" something but actually engage with their community and share a genuine passion and education about animals. Love this store, you have to check it out.

Jennifer is amazing! Had so many questions and she answered them all. She is super nice and very friendly. She wanted to know all about our headgehog to help advise us to give him the best life! I would highly recommend going to her for all your exotics! Will come back for sure!
