I love Ace! Ace tends to have slighlty higher prices then the big box chains but they have something much more valuable then Home Depot or Lowes and thats competent people who know what they are talking about. Theres always somebody available for assistance and Ive never been given a bad piece of advice or tip from anyone over here. I like the fact that they hire and value older workers for their experience and knowledge. Ace is the place to be if youre looking for that 1 little odd item, screw, bolt, etc they have it. I dont even bother going to the big chains first if Ive got a specialty item because 9 times out of 10 they dont have it but guess who does ACE Hardware. Theyve got some of the coolest stuff here. I go in spurts when Im at Ace depends if I have any home improvement projects going on. P.S. Ace doesnt have a customer bathroom but when my plumbing went out and I was waiting outside for them to open they were nice enough to care and let me use the bathroom anyways. Thanks.

Extremely disgusted that Ace Hardware sells grill lighters in the form of AR15 assault rifles. Those "lighters" are officially endorsed by the NRA. What does the NRA have to do with grill lighters? NOTHING!! Given this is the weapon of choice for mass murderers and terrorists, it is wholly inappropriate as an item to be sold by Ace Hardware. Ace is making a political statement the jeopardizes its standing in the community.

Dont bother to get locksmith work done here. My husband took several locks in to get re-keyed. One of the deadbolts they screwed up so bad, we had to buy a new one, but they were nice enough not to charge us for the lock change of the one they messed up. How generous! What they should have done was compensate us for the one we had to purchase.

This little store has things that the big box hardware stores dont have. Most of the knowledgeable staff have been in this store in the past 32 years. I live in a nearby neighborhood and saw a lot of hardware stores come and go.
