This was and still continuing to be a TOXIC experience. I bought appliances worth $3000+. My refrigerator was supposed to be delivered on the Dec 1, 2015 and the delivery guys said they dont have it. I contacted Home Depot team at Lonetree, CO and they didn’t know anything about why or what the status is. I was informed the night of Dec 1, 2015 that they spoke with delivery company and it will be delivered on Thursday Dec 3 but nothing and no one from Home Depot contacted me about whats going on. I had to go back to them for an update and there was a new person there who didnt know anything about the background. I had to explain everything from the beginning and was promised that I will have someone update on Monday. No news on Monday and when I called in, I was informed that they don’t know where the refrigerator and will let me know when they know. What!!! Very frustrating. long story short, I received my refrigerator 12 days late and it was defective. Scratches, broken containers etc. I had to incur cost because I couldn’t move to my new home for 12days. HD team didn’t really care about that. I bet they would’ve had they been incurring that cost. Anyways, I was promised a replacement of defective refrigerator and its been 10 more days and I haven’t heard anything about the replacement. Nothing at all. The only person who suffering (both financially and mentally) is me and seems like HD doesnt care. I will be writing reviews on BBB and other review boards so others do not suffer like I did and am.

I dont usually take the time to write a review, however felt it was much deserving of my time in this case. I made a trip to the Lone Tree Home Depot on September 10th. As I was looking at some tile backsplash, within a couple minutes of looking I was approached by an employee by the name of Gregg, he wanted to know if I needed any assistance or if he could help me with anything. Since I was looking to get all I needed to be able to do a kitchen backsplash and had no idea specifically what I needed, I smiled and said I sure do need some assistance! After explaining what I was looking to do, Greg took the time to show me everything I needed while at the same time explaining to me why exactly I needed these items. He never tried to encourage me to buy things I didnt need and truly made my trip into this store how I wish it could be every time I walk into a "service oriented" store. This may seem very routine and not a big deal to some, however I dont think I have EVER had such a pleasant experience with seeking help from a Home Depot employee that didnt make me feel like I was putting them out by asking a question or wasting their time. Sadly, a lot of employees in "service oriented" jobs any more seem to just be there for a pay check and dont show a true interest in helping customers like this man did. So kudos to you Greg (no idea on the last name, was gentlemen probably 40s or so), it is very apparent you enjoy your job and helping others!!

I had a great experience, I just purchased my first condo on Friday and went into this visit blind. I knew what I needed to accomplish, but no idea how to get there. A few people Id like to recognize: Patrick in Paint - Very helpful. He helped guide me through the steps in picking a color, his recommendation, whats popular right now and a special that Baer is having (which they never have) so we could get a better deal. He explained the Home Depot credit card to me and got me a line of credit at Home Depot to make my initial purchase yesterday. Sheri in Appliances - Sheri was incredibly helpful showing me a range and a dishwasher. Even though I wasnt purchasing yesterday, and she knew that, she was knowledgeable and helped get me the answers I needed for when I purchase! Alisa in wood works - Although short staffed and she was helping another couple. We went to another isle as it was taking a long time. After she finished with that customer, she came to find up and help us! Kudos! All introductions to department specialists and easy of finding the items I needed could not have happen without my long time & good friend, Steve Anderson. Thanks again Home Depot in Lone Tree for making this new chapter in my life so much easier from the start! I will be back and will tell my friends about my experience yesterday!

Ordered a dishwasher from Home depot online, because Home Depot doesnt have ANY dishwashers on had for their customers. Received an automated call 4 days after the order and an email stating the order would be delivered from 7am-7pm. Home depots delivery service contacted my at 2pm while I was at work and said you have 15 minutes to be here or the order would be moved to the following week. Lady on the line said that they delivery until 8pm, but delivery times are generated by a computer, and she had no ability to schedule a time that works for the customer. I asked if the dishwasher could be delivered to the store, as it is only 3 miles from my house. They couldnt do that either. I then called the store and talked to Bill (OBrian?), who is the department head. He told me that he couldnt do anything to resolve the issue, and that he "could sit here and argue with you" but nothing will change. Pretty poor business. No calls or effort made by home depot to deliver the dishwasher in a time that works for the customer, or at least deliver it to the store?! Terrible customer service! BTW, the dishwasher is cheaper at Lowes....

FAIL. To preface my review, I should share that like most I received an email a few months back about how my credit card information was compromised by the Home Depot. . Today I went in to return a few items. I had a receipt for one but not the other. The one I did not have a receipt for was purchased with the card they forced B of A to replace due to their security breach. The piece in question was worth all of .67 cents, yet the clown helping me insisted on giving me a gift card. Really? Your system fails me and this is the kind of service I get? An associate that cant even have the courtesy to credit the .67 cents back to my card instead of giving me a gift card? I even explained to him that I dont have that card because of his companys security breach! I had to spend my valuable time to update all my autopay accounts after their security breach., That time spent was worth far more than .67 cents. Its called customer service Home Depot. Contact the folks at Costco or Nordstroms and take notes.

Thumbs down for customer service. My husband and I started shopping in the garden center. Two employees were "working." One man sat (on the ground) behind the register, and a young woman stood across from him. When I asked for help finding impatiens, I was vaguely directed toward the rows and rows of flowers just outside the garden center. When I asked her to show me what impatiens looked like (I had never purchased them before), she showed me one small, undesirable tray of them. I asked the woman if there were more, and she said there were, and motioned to the entire area of flowers. The woman also said there were probably some inside the garden center. She then returned to her spot across from the man. I searched and searched, and finally gave up. My husband and I then went into the store to look for another item, with no help, and no luck locating it. We left the store, and decided to go to our local Home Depot to make the purchases we needed to make.
