Its impossible that this place has good reviews. How is it possible this store has good reviews? I live less than a mile from here, and have had such bad experiences that I drive to the Lowes on South Havana now. I placed an order for 50 cinder blocks online because It was after hours and I figured I could swing by and pick them up in the morning. The website said they had them in stock, so easy peasy right? By about 11am I still hadnt received any kind of confirmation so I called the store. Talked to an employee who said she would get the order ready right away. I gave her an hour or so and headed over to the store. At the customer service desk, employee #1 cant find my order. Employee #2 finds my order and sends employee #3 to get my bricks. They dissapear. I wait, and I wait, and I wait. At least 15 minutes I stand there until a store manager comes up to tell me they dont have them in stock. Instead of being apologetic or sympathetic, he tells me that the store carries over 80000 items and that the website only updates its inventory once a week (why bother then?). They have them, though, at the Stapleton store. Then he gives us the cross streets, which are about 3 blocks away from where the actual store is. Then I wait for employee #5 to be available, and it takes another 15 minutes to transfer my order to the other store, and for some reason I have a balance of like $5. (what?) When we finally found the Stapleton store, we explained our situation to employee #6 and got the response "then why are you talking to me then?" and were given vague instructions to drive around back. Then we met the first helpful Home Depot employee of the day (#7 for those keeping track). We started working about 3 hours later than we wanted to, all thanks to The Home Depot. Ive never been so frustrated about a retail experience. Sidenote: They sent me texts telling me to pick up my online order for about a month afterwards. Never again. If youre thinking about doing an in-store pick up... make sure you call them first. The website has no idea whats in stock. Or better yet.... just go to Lowes.

Done with it. Your inventory system is a joke, and your excuses are even worse! (and you apparantly have different excuses depending on the person from what i gather in reviews) I suggest you look to LOWES (or any other retail establishment) and beg them for pointers. Beg! Never, ever have I, or anyone Ive ever known had experiences with retail stores like I have with yours. Your website constantly claims you have an item in stock, but you actually have none. EVERYTHING from Doors, to plumbing parts, electrical parts, lumber, and hardware! Website says: "34 available". Reality: NONE. Website says: "7 available" Reality: YOU DONT EVEN HAVE A PLACE ON THE RACK FOR IT!!!!!! FFS! On and on and on. Ive endured it for the last 18 months because this location and N. Salida were quick and convienent, but now that job is over. LOWES and other local businesses will now be getting THOUSANDS from me on a MONTHLY basis. I dont care if it costs more, my time is worth the difference! AND the service is better! One last thing, Your "order online pickup in-store" operation is complete waste of time. Your staff have litterally tried to pass onto me incomplete plumbing parts, broken cases of tile, doors that had been cut to a custom height, then returned, damaged-beyond-usable CABINET GRADE plywood, and just plain leaving items off the list! That isnt overlooking or missing something on occassion, thats TRYING to F up at your job! ESPECIALLY when it occurred THREE TIMES IN A ROW! Did you ever offer a discount when it took an HOUR to correct it? NO! Did you offer me an apology? NO. You acted as if I want it done right, I shouldve just came and got it myself! DUHHHHHHH. Wipe the drool from the corner of your mouth and try to have a sliver of self respect!

Been doing business with them for years, now for some reason they feel ALL customers are thieves. Each person is checked upon departing and searched. That is unwarranted and I cannot do business with someone that feels their clients are thieves. They may have a problem, well thats not my problem. But the insinuation and inconvenience is my problem. An easy way to fix their problem without inconveniencing their customers is mag strips and more cashiers. I wont shop at Costco or Sams for the same reason. One time when I was with a friend at Sams around the corner I remember waiting in their exit line for twenty minutes. this only took five but still, whos paying me for my time they are taking up. Or is this just their opinion that your time doesnt matter. Doesnt matter that its 5 minutes of five hours taking your time to search you is an implication your stealing. A blanket accusation on all customers is just plain wrong. I also tried to talk to them, and was even more somewhat surprised that they didnt really much care. Including being told very quickly into the conversation, "Sorry you feel that way, have a nice day". Wow?!? So denizens of the Net, please dont shop there. That kind of attitude is wrong. Plain and simple. Their competitor is not far up the road and I will be finding myself going there from here forward. Thanks for your time reading this.

Do not go here to get a kitchen reface. My husband and I spend over $10,000 through them to reface our cabinets and instal counter tops. The cabinets look nice on the outside but are still horrible on the inside. And one of the drawers all ready broke. They did not instal the counter tops rights. One side is hanging 4" off and the other is maybe 1cm. Not a good job, we are going to have redone by another company. We found out 6 months after that we could have gotten new cabinets and counter tops for $6,000 somewhere else. If you do go ahead and use them, DO NOT FINANCE WITH THEIR LOAN. RIPOFF!!!!! They are so unhelpful. They do not send out monthly statements and their interest is not adding up. I contacted them, after a few times my case was sent to their CEO and CFO. They gave me the runaround, but never explained why their interest is not adding up. We have been paying on the loan for over 10 months now with payments of $250. ($2500) Only $854 has been taken off of our account. Thats with 6 of those months being no interest. Its sad when the CFO can not explain how they are figuring out interest. This was a waste of time and money. Mostly money because now we are going to have to pay another company to come in and redo what Home Depot has messed up.

Im a clean cut business owner that buys limber and hardware at this store (I attempt to anyways). I am constantly hassled by security, reprimanded by cashiers if I complain (one woman in particular with short hair in her early sixties Id guess), and lumber is just thrown around into all kinds of bins, regardless of dimensions. So I have to dig through piles of boards just to find the right size, and thats before trying to see if the board is straight and usable. It took 15 minutes to get 4 pieces of lumber, and there are rarely carts within easy access. The thing that is shared with all Home Depot stores is the camera system on their shelves. Trying to even buy a $30 electrical component will set off an alarm and a blinking camera. Are they actually trying to discourage me from buying stuff? Thats a novel business tactic! I should have enough self-respect to quit shipping there all together, but trust me, at this point, if traffic allows and if the product can be had elsewhere, I absolutely avoid this store like the plague.
