Be advised: Some of the low ratings are from people reviewing THE WRONG STORE. These guys are GREAT! I brought in a custom-built gaming PC after trying to assess the problem at home, thinking it was my motherboard and not wanting to deal with the whole dive-in myself, much less ordering a motherboard online and putting the whole thing back together again. These guys worked with me right away and, despite multiple hiccups, had me fixed up and ready to go over a single weekend, accommodating and educating me the whole way through the process. In trying to assess the issue myself, I had removed my heatsink fan, and right off the bat I was given a "no problem" as the employee grabbed thermal paste and rubbing alcohol to reinstall it for me before testing the PC, which Im assuming they reapplied multiple times. I had a water cooling system I had neglected to install for not wanting to immediately deal with thermal paste, and since they were already working on it, they installed it for me FOR FREE, no additional labor costs. After waiting a thoroughly appropriate amount of time (really mostly just over night) for them to assess my problem, they determined that my motherboard was, in fact, fried from the power surge I noticed when I got home (alarm clock was flashing, yes Im old school and still use alarm clocks). They immediately gave me a reasonable quote for install that included the cost of the motherboard which seemed totally fair based on how much time it would take me to correct the issue, so I gave them the go-ahead. This part isnt their fault, but the motherboard they ordered and got delivered the next day was actually more broken than my original one! To remedy the situation, one of the techs said he would bring ONE OF HIS OWN FROM HOME to get me rocking and rolling as soon as possible. I agreed. Later, they realized this would not fit my needs as I wanted RAM in all 4 slots and the motherboard he happened to have was for a specific, smaller build, and only fit 2. Now they gave me an option to wait or pick up the motherboard myself. I needed my PC for work (my laptops processor cant handle some heavier programs very well) so I offered to go pick one up, and they agreed to stay late to install it that day. They provided me with a specific part number that helped me find the part right away at microcenter, even during busy hours, because employees could look it up right away. Because I drove to the center these guys discounted my labor costs even more, even though it was their recommendation! So lets recap, they: installed my water cooler for free, offered to bring their own part from home for me to use, gave me the option to pick up the part myself, and then discounted my rate for doing so. Oh, and they cleaned and cable managed my PC. All for a reasonable price. And they educated me through the process! Dont trust poor reviews based on incorrect locations. These guys told me they get calls all of the time for people thinking theyre the wrong spot, and have no idea who the callers are, or have them in the system. Its a small shop with only 2 techs, theres no way they wouldnt remember. 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Purchased a lemon, and one year later, they still have not returned it or fixed it... January 14, 2016 I purchased a MacBook Pro from Like New PCs. I originally took my 13 inch Macbook Pro in because it just stopped charging and would eventually not turn on. I was told by an associate that I needed a new motherboard because liquid was supposedly spilled on the laptop. Instead of fixing it they recommended purchasing a laptop from them because it would come with a warranty and was a larger screen. I ended up purchasing it from the store. Upon taking the computer home I quickly learned that aside from a great deal of my data not being transferred over, as they promised, the computer would freeze and shut off, would not hold a charge, the touchpad would get stuck down and when I moved the cursor it would highlight the page(s); it would eventually become depressed however it was frequent enough to not be able to use properly. In addition to all these issues, the backlighting on the keyboard was not working as well. The purchase included a three month warranty so I immediately called Like New PCs and they were happy to fix the issue. I took the computer back to the store and they kept it for over a month the first time. I picked up the computer in March and when I attempted using the computer nothing was fixed. I returned the computer again telling Tim, the manager, the issues and he said he would resolve it. They had it for almost 2 months and after picking it up again it still was not functioning. I returned it for a third time in June and they returned it end of July, however it was still having the same issues. I finally returned it again in September and they said the battery they put in previously was "bad". It is now January 5, 2017, and I still have not received the computer back. Tim said they "damaged" the motherboard when fixing the backlighting and now needed a new motherboard. They ordered one in October and it was delivered on Christmas Eve, however it was the wrong one, so they are still waiting for the supplier to send the correct motherboard.

This was the most outrageous rip off. I paid almost $200 for a USED desktop about a year ago. Within a few weeks I had to bring it back because of a virus, even though they told me it came with an antivirus software. They charged me $75 to clean the virus and said it was my fault, some how and wasnt covered under their "warranty" that they promised me I would have when I first bought it. Then, a few months later it wouldnt boot up, and the fan just made a loud noise like it was going to burn up. I brought it in and once again, somehow this was not part of the "warranty" policy. They proceed to replace the fan and charge me again. Within a few months after that (June 1st, 2015 according to my credit card statement I just reviewed), it wouldnt boot up once again and I take it back and they charge me this time for a new mother board. Do you think this would be covered by the "warranty", you guessed it, NO WAY. So then, LITERALLY 2 weeks after that (June 16th) it was still not booting up and this time they said "because there had been so much lightening and thunderstorms recently, there was no way they could honor the 30 day policy on workmanship" ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! I just walked out of the store because I wasnt going to be ripped off anymore. I ended up spending WAY more money on this used computer than a brand new one. I still have all my credit card statements showing how many times I was in their store getting this ridiculous lemon they sold me fixed, every single time being promised that if "anything else happens" I should just bring it back to them, as I walk out their door. Long story short, these guys are completely incompetent and just rip you off. I cant emphasize enough how much you should AVOID buying ANYTHING from them, especially if they pretend it will be coming with a "warranty"
