As an Operations Manager, I am not one who normally believes in giving bad reviews, as I think many people just use it to bash a business over selfish reasons or strictly being fussy. However, I had a very odd experience with Mile High PC. Alex seems like a great guy and appeared as though he would have good customer service. I took my computer in because it was freezing up real bad, and I wasnt able to do anything on it. He had it for a few days, and over the weekend, and apologized he had not gotten to it because he was in the middle of a move from his home, but that he would get to it. When I got it back and hooked it up at the office, same exact thing was happening--freezing up, and not getting access to anything. I called back and he reported to me that it was working just fine for him and that he "stress" tested it (which I found out later didnt matter). So anyway, he told me to bring it back in with my monitor and hook up cords because it may be something from my office. I was doubtful but brought it in anyway. Given that it was a business computer, I needed it right away for customer emails and Quick books for billing purposes. But I had to keep following up on the progress. This back and forth had been going on for a week. He then said hed come by my office since it was next door if it still acted up. Again, hooked it up, and I got the same--freezing up, not responding, no access. This was a Friday, so I couldnt mess with it. Monday, called him and he said hed come by at noon. I reminded him that we needed to bill customers and needed it fixed once and for all. Waited until about 1230pm, no call, no show. So I took it to another computer guy. Turns out that it was my hard drive the entire time. I had 47 sectors in the hard drive that caused these problems. This new computer guy was confused when I told him I took it in to Mile High PC, and Alex kept telling me it was running fine for him. Didnt add up. Didnt make sense. He said that stress testing wouldnt have even mattered, and that it was obvious the hard drive wasnt checked. Anyway, now my computer runs well, but not until I had to dish out more money, since Mile High PC did indeed charge me for services too. I would never go back there again, as it appears he didnt even think to check the hard drive.

The PC that I ended up with was literally nothing like what I asked for. When I walked in, Alex pointed to a desktop that we could work with, he was going to order ram for 8 gigs total and a video card worth having, a WiFi card, and he would install them. This was a newer I3 processor, standard lenovo machine. I had to ask him when the thing would be ready, I didnt hear any updates, and even offered him some help in his shop. 3 weeks later, when he finally turned a computer over to me, it was a completely different machine, something he built into a used and dented case. He originally gave me an 10+ year old motherboard, and 3 gigs of ram and "forgot" about the wifi. 3 gigs RAM....? I took this back to him with some legitimate complaint, he was quick to offer something else and so I was waiting.... AGAIN. So about a month in, I go back and pick up a "newer" motherboard processor, 5 gigs of RAM, and a WiFi card installed. I can do basics, I can basically run League of Legends without something going too slow, tends to lag, definitely cant run too many programs at once. The case he gave me has an sd/cf card reader and two usb slots that werent even connected to the motherboard... I cant say I was super happy with my experience with Mile High PC. Will need to upgrade or sell for another PC.

DO NOT USE MILE HIGH PC REPAIR. They do not follow up on their "service". No return phone calls or follow up. I needed the mouse pad replaced on my mac (If you have a Mac especially do not go there. Go to Denver Mac Repair) It took them 3 weeks to get me something that still did not function. They also stole one of our Rams out of the macbook which the Apple store tech alerted me of. DO NOT USE! They have also had my sister in laws tablet to repair a cracked screen for 3 months!!!

Did wonderful jobs over several of our office computers and never overcharged from initial estimates. Much better than work I had done at action computers.
