Will not be buying here again! When I first when I first went in to get this car everything was fine, so I bought it. ( the sale rep was ok ). On my way home ( I live a little over an hour away) the car seemed un-aligned and there was a twitch in the car while driving it, by this time it was to late to go back or call since they were closed. The next day in the morning the breaks start to squeak, the fuse door fell off and the 12v power plug was blown out. I called them and I was told that everything should be fine, but if I really wanted to I could take it in. We agreed that i would take it in and they will give me a rental for the time. I get there shy of 6pm, I go in there and they looked at me like I was crazy, they had no record that they had talked to me the previous day and much less that they will give me a rental. So I was told to come back the following day, I argued that the breaks were squeaking like crazy and that I did not want to drive it. They kind of threw their hands of and gave me the boot for that day. OK they take it the next day, gave a rental for 3 days. They managed to fix the breaks ( which they claimed to have been new when I bought the car, BS!) they also fixed the 12v power plug and the fuse door and the alignment. The next day the Check engine light comes on, so there you have me again taking it back. They give me a rental. I get a call and they tell me that they will be replacing my transmission, fine they do it (took them about a week). They call me that its ready and to pick it up the next day, a little bit later they call me again and they tell me that the car is having a misfire and that it will be a few more days. I was trying to be cool and calm since the beginning but now I was starting to get pissed. It took them another week and a halve to fix whatever was wrong with it. Turns out that the miss fire was caused by fuel contamination. What a load of crap. so for about the first month I did not have the car I had bough, they had me in a dumb rental. And just recently my breaks started squeaking again, I am not sure if they will ever get that fixed right. If you can avoid buying from here, DO SO!. If you really have to buy from here take a mechanic or two of your own to check their pre owned "certified " cars. the cars are supposedly inspected before they are cleared to sell this would have not happened, someone is not doing their job right. They whole point of buying a pre-owned certified car is because an expert has checked it out and cleared it to be sold. At the end the person that was the most helpful there was Martin, as did the most out everybody once the sales rep, financial rep and the manager of the place dropped the whole load on him while they wiped their hands their hands and walked away. Over all, just be cautious of this place.

I bought an Altima Hybrid at Diritos Walnut Creek store in February 2010. Salesman TJ helped me locate a car with the options and color I wanted and the bottom line was very agreeable. The general manager (Moe) also helped us. Ive known Moe for many years -- I bought a 2004 Frontier pickup from him when he was at the Concord store. He has a great sense of humor and he keeps his word. (Also a couple years ago my girlfriend was shopping for something sporty and Lillie helped us. My girlfriend didnt buy a Nissan, but Lillie was very gracious and quite knowledgable.) My Altima Hybrid has 17,660 miles and there have been no problems of any kind. I average a rock-solid 34mpg per tank, in mixed driving with a light foot. I got the package with leather, moon roof, Blue Tooth, heated seats, and Bose sound system. I love this car. There are hybrids that get better mileage, but the Altima performs on a par with my 2001 Infiniti I30t. (The Infiniti only averaged 19-20mpg on premium -- ouch.) My Frontier pickup has 65,235 miles and its been 100% reliable as well. The only problem was a minor piece of fender welting that came loose. Currently there is a safety recall for replacement of the steering column shaft, but nothing which has stranded me or caused any problems. My truck is a more basic model with a 4-cylinder engine and 5-speed transmission. Its not fast, but its tough and competent. Im averaging 24-25 mpg, in mixed driving with a light foot. Its a satisfying no-drama vehicle. I do most of my own maintenance so I have minimal experience with the Walnut Creek service staff. The few times Ive dealt with them theyve been very courteous, although they may be understaffed. Ive been self-employed most of my life and Id like to say that at a time when so many firms are closing their doors, we can expect some inconvenience from those who remain open. The alternative is driving to Concord or Hayward, or using an independent. I can live with it. I paid cash for both vehicles so I cant rate Diritos financing. Im 57 and Ive owned a number of brands including Acura, Honda, Infiniti, Toyota and VW. The Altima and Frontier have been better than or equal to anything else Ive owned. Paul

Recently purchased a VW jetta from this dealership in Walnut Creek , my sales man was Jim Tallarico, what made this purchase more complicated was the fact that I am from Chicago and was flying down to San Fran to set my daughter up at Grad school and buy her a new car for her four year term, I started talking to Jim before leaving Chicago in regards to pricing ,availably and time line do to the fact that I only had one day to close the deal before I had to return to Chicago, when we arrived Jim contacted me and offered to pick us up at the Embassy Suites and drive us to the dealer , from start to finish he was great , it was one of the more professional and pleasureful car purchases I have ever experienced and " I have made a lot" we test drove several versions of the jetta before deciding , there was absolutely no pressure the sales man was top of the line, explaining every detail about the car and the purchase , Sterling In finance worked with us to get the best rate and after the purchase Jim took the time to explain every little detail of the car to my daughter, from the blue tooth setup for her phone to the GPS functions The deal was closed, and a new relationship with a Dealer and a Great Saleman was formed that I can depend on in the future to help my daughter out with any problems she might have with her new car . Thanks Jim And Dirito Brothers you guys are truly in a class of your own Patrick T Martin Chicago

I bought a 2007 VW GTI from them which looked beautiful. Once I got home I noticed that one headlight is bad. I look more into it and notice that the whole headlight assembly had broken mounting points which caused the bulb to pop out and in causing a short to the bulb. After I fix that, I check my oil dipstick and find that it is below the minimum mark. I then change the oil and see the oil almost black with synthetic. I then check the cam follower which a common part to fail on gtis of this generation. The follower has a hole which means my car needs a new intake cam and fuel pump a 2000$ fix. This dealer is not trustworthy with used cars. Be very cautious and treat the car as you would if the seller is a random person you found in craigslist.Do not trust the sales person about problems with the car. Force a prepurchase inspection from someone other then this dealer to save yourself from hidden faults.
