Worst customer service experience today! My husband and I went shopping yesterday and barely realized this morning that we forgot a bag (our children put away the groceries) needless to say he went back to repurchase our missing items. The checker that helped us the day before was there and recognized my husband . He told her what happened and she said she knew he left a bag and proceeds to describe some of the items. She then basically told him that since he didnt have his receipt (which Im sure was in that bag) it was too bad, manager said the same thing and made some other unnecessary comments.Clearly they knew that our bag had been left and exactly what was int it. An easy fix with poor customer service. I dont know what ever happened to helping out the consumer. Super disappointed with a poor outcome. I dont know why people love taking advantage and not just do the "right" thing.

The deli department is the worst Safeway deli in the Bay Area yet. The last two times I went there, the deli didnt have the waffles or Focaccia bread to make a breakfast sandwich which is listed on their deli menu. Either its the bakerys fault for not providing the bread to the deli or store management. Also, the deli employees have a "I dont care attitude" to boot. I dont think I will be going back to this Safeway again.

Extremely rude deli employees & the deli manager was no better they were trying to charge me SIX DOLLARS for a THREE DOLLAR breakfast burrito talking about thats the rule because Im not getting it the way it comes when I know its not because I work at Safeway. Couldnt even speak with the store manager Brad because he was moving extremely slow in the checkstand. I will never step foot in this store again!!

To be fair...this is the only grocery store I know in Vacaville. I visit there often for work. Safeway is branded as Vons in Southern California, and I love Vons. Decent meats and produce and good prices - join the club AND download the app for some of the best deals around! I give 4 out of 5 stars, because the lines seem to move slowly at this location. Otherwise it might be a 5!

Not even 8pm at night, all but one set of doors were opened. The employees were out side the closed set of doors smoking. Per state law, they were too close to be smoking however since the employees disabled the doors from opening it made it ok? Inconveniencing customers for the sake of laziness? Not a pleasurable experience as a customer.

This safeway is always clean. They also have a Wells Fargo Bank inside which makes this an easy one stop for me. I like the 5$ Friday deals which often saves me money. They also have Just for you savings which helps. Unfortunately even with these savings I often spend more than other grocery stores near by.

The worst in terms of waiting in checkout lines....at first one single line long enough to go past all check out counters, they finally opened 1 more, which only helped minimally. Seriously Safeway, open more registers when there are large crowds.

Had to stop in real quick after work, so it was late. employees were not very friendly and boxes everywhere, made my shopping experience difficult, but I was happy they were open that late and good produce section.

Val in the Bakery is awesome. I had coupons for free bagels, but never got there in time to get any. She wrote down a special order ticket for me. I picked them up the next day. Thank you Val! For my fresh bagels!

The sandwich station is awesome. Made me a custom sandwich fast and easy. My co-worker waited longer in line to check out with his wings than i did with my delicious sandwich and sweet tea.
