Their delivery service is completely incompetent. I scheduled a delivery between 12 and 1 and I havent heard a thing from the driver or anyone for 4 hours . When I called their customer service apparently the only way to contact a driver is through a phone he is issued and he cant pick it when hes driving so they leave voicemails which of course he hasnt responded to. They cant even track their own trucks so this guy could be parked somewhere smoking a blunt or lying in a ditch and they wont have a clue .

Its a safeway so you find whatever it is you need. Just the workers tend to have this elevated sense of self worth where they dont quite help the customers with what they really need. They sort of work with this mentality that come off as "you can come to me and ask if you need something and Ill see if I can help you with that." And at this point, Im not sure if this review is even helpful and Im too afraid to ask so yea.. its a safeway but one i personally disliked.

Of the two Safeways in town, this is the "old one," but they are about equal in quality and offerings. Safeway is a good enough place to get most things, just avoid most of the produce if you can (I prefer Co-op or Trader Joes for bang-for-your-buck produce). The deli / hot food options also seem to be relatively worse at this Safeway than the other, but the food is still fine in a pinch. Convenient wells Fargo inside for north / West Davis access.

They seem to be unable to address their long checkout line problem, which is a problem about 70% of the time I come here regardless of time of day. I know employees are a big cost for stores, but I prefer going to Save-Mart just because of that. They oftentimes call for new checkers only after the lines make me feel like Im back in the Soviet Union. ;)

The store has everything that I need when shopping There is a Starbucks inside with seats. The fruits and vegetables are fresh. There is a deli with freshly made meals. There are salads and sandwiches packaged to go. The soups are tasty and healthy and ready to serve. The parking is cramped but I have always managed to get a parking space.

Overall a good store and staff. Several of the worst shopping experiences of my life. I have spoken with management and they do not care how long the lines are. Unless you want to stand in line for the length of time you spent shopping, go anywhere else but here. The staff copes the best they can. Large dairy and frozen food selection.

Somehow they are always low on a few things I need to buy, regardless of what they are. And always have 1 or 2 fewer checkouts open than would be ideal. They fall in the middle between Nugget and Savemart for atmosphere and produce quality, but fall in last for convenience and customer appreciation.

Never worth going to. The checkout lines take forever. Safeway has a poor produce selection (who doesnt carry lemons?) And they dont sell any real cheese. You cant find Gouda, brie, etc. Just go to the Nugget -- itll be quicker and a more pleasant experience.

Great, but staffs are too busy... I had to wait 30 min to register safeway card at the customer service. The staffs dont care about you but at least there are a lot of choices for your food

Well its a supermarket. Its pricey if you dont take the (free no credit) reward card. The meat and fish choice is a little small. But I rarely stop elsewhere after going here

Prepare to wait in line to check out. Many times line runs down the isle because they are understaffed. Prices arent much better than Nugget. Go there instead.
