I ordered the vegan holiday dinner for Thanksgiving, and it was outstanding. Billed as a dinner for 2, it easily contained enough food for 3 or 4. A great alternative to a meat-based Thanksgiving. I go to Andronicos because, even tho they are a little pricey, they carry a number of products that the other stores I go to (Costco, Safeway, Trader Joes) do not carry--for example, fresh ginger, specialty flours, Amys vegan burgers, Alexia fries, French vermooth. The produce tends to be very variable in quality, so you have to shop carefully when buying fruits and vegetables--Draegers and Trader Joes have better produce in general.

Its March 14th and Im happy to report that Safeway Community Market in the Rancho Shopping Centre has kept most of its scrumptious deli-line (from Tonys Fine Foods in West Sacramento) as well as the entire, wonderful staff from Andronicos! You can still order high-quality turkeys and leg-of-lamb and have the deli roast them for you. The outstanding wines from Andronicos are still there as are some of the cakes including one gluten-free cake. The service is "top drawer" and the place is packed every day. In fact, theyre so busy, they have to bring in workers from other Safeway stores. Word obviously got out!

So far this store has kept its neighborhood community feel and products are fresh. I will avoid the downtown Safeway and shop here as much as possible. I hope they can keep a high level of customer service as time goes on. Today while being checked out with just two items an employee interrupted my checker while he was helping me to have a form signed. My checker stopped helping me to attend to her need. Not so cool customer service by either of them. A few more seconds and my transaction would have been completed. Dont become downtown Safeway, please!!!

Very easy to access market although parking can be busy. Handicap parking in front. Very clean store that is fully stocked. Selections available seem to supercede other stores. Not over crowded with people and isles are spacious. Very pleasant shopping experience.

Went there to buy simple white potatos. They do dot have them. Plenty of exotic expensive fruits that no one is buying, but no simple potatoes. The place is nearly empty. Barely any customers.

Very well i really its like a small. Safeway but it has everting like a regular safeway store. Very colorful and interesting.
