Lets set expectations here: In the end, this just a coffee house. Bagel sandwiches, smoothies, coffee drinks, that sorta thing. But, that said, everything about this place is just a little nicer than what you might expect from a typical coffee house. The bagel sandwiches are just a little bit more delicious. The coffee drinks are just a little bit tastier (and they get bonus points for knowing what a macchiato really is). The service is just a little bit friendlier. Im not entirely sure what the secret ingredient is here. Maybe its love. Or maybe its the thinner air. Either way, this is a good place for a quick bite to eat in the morning, assuming the line isnt too long.

From the moment I pulled into the parking lot, I could tell this was the place--sunny, an obvious locals choice. Not being a local, it was great to bump into a friend I hadnt seen in a while. He had moved to Truckee, something I didnt know. Great to catch up. I had a toasted bagel and an Americano. The bagel was surprisingly good. Selecting what to eat was difficult because they also have homemade pies and cake and ..... And prices were reasonsable. This place is also in an ideal location. It gets great morning sun. Its on a main artery, but its set off of it by a lawn and its outdoor seating is great. Theres lots of parking.

Wild Cherries feels like home. Everything is baked fresh before they open shop, its worth the stop in the morning before work if only for a still-warm-from-the-oven Cocolate Cappuccino Muffin. Black coffee on the bar is never stale or burnt. Dont be deterred if you see a line to the door, all the staff are super efficient and so friendly, you wont be standing in that line for long and it will have been more than worth it. And theyre open all day. Look no further!

Weve been coming to Truckee, specifically to go to Wild Cherries, from Reno for 10+ years. Theres always a line, and it isnt a deterrent because it moves so swiftly. Once you try anything there youll understand the line, and be happy for the well oiled machine that is their staff. The food, all if it, is exceptional. And if I didnt have so much faith in the staff, I wouldnt tell you all to go to one of my FAVE spots!

Highly recommended by friends as a must while in Truckee and we agree. Price was reasonable for breakfast sandwich and bagel sandwich for me and my wife but the quality of food and taste were great! They carry Udis gluten free bread so my wife was able to get a sandwich; huge plus! Great quality coffee, felt like a great local favorite we were glad to get a chance to experience.

The staff is so rude to tourist, we went there for coffee, it was weak coffee and NOT what I asked for. We went back later to try their sandwhiches and the staff was rushing us when we were the only ones ordering. The sandwhich was over priced and when I asked for no mustard they gave me mustard on my sandwhich. I swear to never go to then again for any reason!

We stopped by for lunch and tried out the veggie delite and the vegetarian chili with corn meal muffin. They were both excellent. The chili was awesome comfort food for a spring afternoon. The veggie delite sandwich was also fantastic and flavorful. The place also offers a nice ambiance

This is a great place to stop for a quick bite to eat or drink. Their smoothie selection is vast and everything Ive tried so far has been delicious. Their sandwiches are great too. I highly recommend this place when youre in the area.

Great coffee and food options. The wifi was strong, the food was delicious, and the b service was great. Seating was a little limited cause the place is so popular so be prepared for a little wait, but it was worth it.

Best coffee and breakfast in Truckee, I always get the spinach wrapped breakfast burrito with extra Pico de Gallo(so good! ). Scones are great, croissants are buttery and flaky, coffee fresh and hot! Good prices.

You will wait a little longer than Starbucks but the latte is definitely worth the wait. Best Latte Ive had in years. No bitterness at all, no acidity. Just pure perfection. Thank you Wild Cherries!

The coffee is out of this world good. Their food is great, too. The staff are all super friendly and their drip coffee is on an honor system for refills so you dont have to wait in line.

They have a side section with a sign on a jar that reads "For just a buck grab a cup." No line, no hassle, in and out with a good cup of coffee. Great vibes and friendly staff too.

Extremely fast coffee, other drinks are a little slower only because its more popular. I had their Chai shake and it was absolutely amazing.
