After almost 2 weeks of working toward a remodeling effort...materials chosen, installation dates selected. When I came in to write checks and finalize details - dates were pushed out without any communication to me, Quotes doubled in price. The team that was responsible for developing a good solutions for these issues never communicated with the store staff left to handle the details. What a mess!!! Over the hill...the home improvement stores will bend over backwards to communicate and accomodate where it makes sense - and where they are unable these same store over the hill are upfront and divulge the information before hand so the consumer is making educated decisions. The ENTIRE staff is informed and everyone works from/with the same information - so the communication is consistent and good. Internally & with the installers. Home Depot needs a little competition in Tracy ---

My shopping experience at Home Depot Tracy CA #1020 Personal note to Associate Mike in lighting Few of the CFL in my house went out. I went for replacement bulbs. Mike was paged to the lighting section. Mike listened to me well and understood what I really needed. Energy efficient: Mike suggested LED Milky white light: Mike advised how to look for it and said 5000K Installation: Mike explained to me the way a Pro would. Wire by wire, color by color, Connector by connector, gauge by gauge, option by option. Mike even know the type of housing and fixture in my house by the year, builder and location of the my house. Knowledge: After the chat with Mike I had the confidence to do it myself. I saved a lot of money and I am proud that I did it my self.

As soon as I walked into the store I was greeted by Frank who wasnt even in the department of his area of expertise. He assisted me with several things to include taking me to the next department on my list of interests. There he introduced me to Cynthia, who immediately assisted me. She also assisted me with items on my list located in other departments of the store. From there, as I approached the registers contemplating on whether to go with self check out or an assisted register, Debbie immediately helped me make that decision many offering her assistance. Customer service, much, much different than Ive experienced with Home Depot in years past. Thank you for the pleasant change.

Crap service... Never, ever, ever, ever, EVER anyone around to help and if you do stumble upon someone they either avoid helping you or dont know anything. They have a nasty habit of blocking off aisles and then just walking away without even doing anything. No wonder Amazon is stealing big box companies business... Who wants to deal with stores like this when you can go through Amazon and if it doesnt work their return policy is a piece of cake. Doubt I will ever go back to the store.

I ordered closet doors from this store and paid over $3000 and this has been the worse shopping experience of my life. It has been 5 months since I purchased the closet doors and when first installed the doors were damaged and with broken glass; after several calls from manufacturer and home depot they finally got them in but Home depots customer service is a failure. Do not shop here if you do not want this same experience.

I went to Home Depot with the intention of ordering my custom mini blinds after advising the customer service rep. What I needed he suggested some ready made blinds. The blinds were the same style and color and in stock. He saved me about $110.00. And I didnt have to wait a week to get them. Great customer service and I appreciate the fact that he was more concerned over my needs and not the fact of pushing a sale!

Had a great experience with a young lady, her name is Sam. I was lost trying to do a project and she didnt stop until we got what we needed!! Not always have i had help like this. I like to go to the Home Depot because of the large selection of plants. The store has plenty of inexpensive do-it-yourself projects that my family can take on, and there are lot of kids projects for free that are featured on a regular basis. Its our go-to store when we need things like nails, light bulbs, paint, and larger items for our home.

Stay away from them from giving any Installation order, Given the order of installation of Blinds after 5 Business days no response from HomeDepot neither from the company to whom this job outsourced. I will bet if find any responsible person on the phone, keep transferring the phone and after sometimes call automatically get the disconnect.

Faith R. Was very helpful with the issues I was having with online purchases she gathered my complete order there at the store and help me pick it up without having to shop for it. She deserves a raise or a promotion I witnessed her helping a couple that was before me and they had a polite experience as well.

I had to install my garage door and after running into a million problems with my contractor I called home depot and they sent someone out to give me an estimate and an Idea on what was going on. The track chain was totaly off and so I bought another and the problem was fixed. Thanks home depot

Home Depot is normally OK with returns on defective products. This Home Depot in this case is the worst. If your in Tracy go to Ace hardware never do bussiness here again. They will let you down. Horrible experience. wish there was a choice for no stars.

Excellent selection; they have everything here. The customer service is usually great. Ive had 1 or 2 poor experiences here. Sometimes its difficult to find someone to help with product questions. Prices are usually the best I can find.

Tracy Homedepot sucks! My blinds still not yet installed. Living in my house without blinds for around 2 weeks. Homedepot Installer responded after 4 calls( so, unresponsive) and also not ready to install on my requested time.

I must have been to this home depot 10 times in the past couple of months working on a project and never had a single problem. The quality of wood is hit and miss but hay whats perfect! Im glad to have them in Tracy.

Im spoiled for choice at Home Depot for the things I most need from them. They have lots of plants and trees. They also have a great paint department.
