You ever have a day when someone behind the desk goes the extra mile and SAVES YOUR A$$? Aaron Metzler, from this Staples store, is that man in my life today. It all started a week or so when I had to send some dox to Big Brother. But these werent just dox. These were Very Important Documents, and they were my wifes. I was late, they were small, I had to make copies of both sides of them in order to submit the dox and... This morning, my Lovely Wife asks where the dox are. Where the Very Important Documents are. You know those moments when you know youre blushing, but you dont know if everyone else in the room can tell youre blushing, and you stammer to say something while you try in your head to answer this question? Well, insert that here. And then bolt, because youre late anyway, and while I made to it lunch on time, the whole time I was thinking where the hell are those dox. After lunch, I drove to the Staples store. Enter Aaron Metzler. I explained the situation, that I would be sleeping in the dog house (or maybe under the dog house) for a week if I lost these dox, and that the last place I knew I had them was here. He looked. No, he really looked. Like on top of the shelf, in the lost file, in some drawers, and he even called his boss to get his boss to look for them. His boss, Roberto, actually did the finding, but the kudos go to the man who saw my pain and did more than he had do, and everything he could. Metlzer, you are The Man. Roberto, he deserves a raise. Thanks, Staples Torrance, for saving my ignorant #$%^& a#$ today.

This review only concerns the printing service center. The staff were inexperienced in using standard Windows print settings options. They were using the Windows photo viewers (instead of Photoshop or a more appropriate tool) to run the prints. This interacted in tandem with custom printer software from the printer manufacturer, and it was obvious the staff did not know how all of these systems interacted. They were unable to print simple 5x7 inch photos and wasted even more of their own paper attempting to print an 11x14. I offered to help and assist them with the printer settings, but they refused. Eventually a second representative showed up to help, but they were also unable to successfully print my photos.

Staff doesnt know how to use their print and copy equipment, and unwilling to make up for the waste of time it takes to figure out, and the money you will waste when the process doesnt work. Tried to simply print documents from an email attachment, took hours for them to recieve the email and send the bar code which was expired when i tried to use it. Then it cost me $3.00 to try and use their computer which ended in the inability to print. No one cated, not even a sorry for wasting your time and money, just a vague recomendation to spend more money to keep trying.

Needed to pick up a Computer that was out of stock online; Staff didnt find it at first but later found it which helped me get a great deal. They were willing to hold it for me since it was the last one and I drove there, employee "Nick" was clocked out on lunch stayed and helped me get the item and even in line, there was just one person in front of me and another cashier called me over and rang me up so I wouldnt have to wait at all. A+ for customer service.

They advertised a Oki C331dn Color Laser online for 249 and when I bought it they said it was out of stock and they would not honor the order, yet they kept advertising it (because it got them to the top of the e-commerce vendor lists such as on Google Products and Amazon). Fraudulent. Our attorney is going to contact them. Anyways, this may only be one crook at Staples and does not necessarily reflect on the company as a whole.

Spent 20 minutes trying to print something before the attendant, who was standing next to me, told me that the printer was out of order. Bad customer service on her part. Would post her name but i was to pissed to look. She was blonde, ponytail, a little over 5 foot tall. This was in the copy and print dept. She would not even give up a refund for time used on the machine. This person at this staples knowingly defrauded me.

The inventory is large; they normally have what I need. I have used the print center once and they were helpful, fast and reasonably priced. In general, I think the staff is not overly helpful or friendly, but its fine.
