This was the only store that sold the bridesmaid dresses I wanted, but I really wish someone had warned me...because though the dresses turned out in the end, this was the main source of my wedding-planning stress. The owner never seemed to know what was going on. She wrote everything down and kept it in a big book - I never saw a computer system - which might explain why she wouldnt be able to answer even a simple question like, "when can I expect my order?", when I called. Instead, she would take my name and number and say she would call me back. When I called the first time about placing an order she was fairly quick to respond, but once my order had been placed and she had a down payment she would conveniently forget to return my phone calls. When she finally had time to talk to me shed often get her information mixed up. When I needed a swatch she made it sound like it would be a huge chore to send it to me...even though I lived in San Diego and it would be very inconvenient for me to drive to Torrance to pick it up. Once she finally agreed to mail it to me, she took down my name and address over the phone (even though it was already on file), but somehow still managed to send it to the wrong address. The address she said she sent it to was the address of one of my bridesmaids, but unfortunately, she didnt even have her address right. After almost 2 months of this back and forth with her, I finally had to drive to the store to pick it up. The owner was always late to open the store - even with an appointment! So if youre in a rush, or have other places to be later in the day, this isnt the place to go. She may apologize nicely and youd almost think its a one time thing, but after my bridesmaids and I had to wait outside the store on several occasions for individual fitting appointments and then to pick up the dresses, I would say its a chronic thing with her. I would DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE to anyone! The last thing you need, especially when planning a wedding, is an incompetent person making your life more difficult. If you do choose to buy from here...Good Luck!

This is the first online review I have ever made but this company is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. I felt compelled to help others avoid all the problems I had to deal with. First I was the best man in my brothers wedding and had no choice but to use this company. The tux I rented was $140 w/o shoes and was the cheapest tux I have ever tried on. Not being able to get down there I went to Mens Warehouse to get my measurements and sent it to her. Once the tux came in 2 days before the wedding she told me if I didnt get down there I was not able to make alterations. I was forced to leave work early on Wed and drove 2 hours to finally arrive at her shop in Torrance. I was pressed for time and I was supposed to be in a rehearsal / dinner that evening in Anaheim. Unfortunately she was out to lunch and was late to come back by 40 mins. When she finally showed up I tried on the tux and all the measurements were wrong and off by 1" +. She then proceeded to make the alterations on the pants and jacket while I waited and they still didnt turn out right. I had no choice but to accept and leave so I could try to show up on time to the rehearsal. After a 1 1/2 hour drive in the worst traffic possible I missed the rehearsal and had to just show up to the dinner. From this point on the wedding went well and upon return of the tux, 3 weeks later I get a surprise charge of $100 in my account. Whats this? A late fee because I wasnt able to return it the next day. She called me and harassed me about the money because I blocked my acct. Maggie is so rude she also charge my other brother that came all the way down from Texas. He is in the Army and just got deployed to Jordon and was not able to fight this charge. Low and behold she somehow still was able to charge my card and threatened me several times with suing me if she did not get the money. I hope she is happy with the extra money and the horrible review she is going to get from me. If there was a way to give her negative stars I would. Hope all will read this and avoid the headaches the whole weeding party had to deal with!!!

This store was recommended to me by a co-worker who over the last few years has helped planned weddings for her 2 children & niece. She said, "it doesnt look like much when you go in, but their selection is amazing!" This was the first stop on my dress hunt in Torrance and ended up being my final stop! Maggie, the owner, was of great service. Sure, the phone rings a lot, but she so friendly and makes the overwhelming experience very personal and its a comfortable environment. Hands down my favorite experience of all the Torrance stores... & I hit them all. Its not crowded like Davids Bridal with their crap selection. Or pretentious like La Soie and their insane prices. My mother lives too far, so she wasnt there & Maggie helped add that touch of home. Take the time to go through the racks and youll find a mound of dresses to try on & most likely, the dress of your dreams! High quality at an unbeatable price! And, if the tiny space between the curtains in the dressing room is that much of an issue, just hang a dress on the rod & walah ~ no gap!! Check it out, take the time to go through the huge selection and you wont be disappointed!

Right when i walked in i was greeted my Maggie, the owner of the place. I went to several bridal stores, and she is the most friendly out of all!! I was going to buy my dress at La Soie, but Maggie had the same dress for $100 LESS!! Maggie has soooo much experience and good advice!! Shes been sowing ever since she was 14 years old and had this business for over 20 years!! I could tell that Maggie truly CARES about her customers, other bridal stores just wanted me to buy. I had the best experience at this store and recommends her to everyone!! My alterations were PERFECT!!!! :) She made my dream of a perfect wedding dress come true!! She is the sweetest thing ever, and finished my alterations in two weeks!! other bridal stores need at least two months for them to finish your bridal gown. I also customized my dress in the front, and its EXACTLY the way I wanted it to be!!! Im going to have about 650 people at my wedding, now I could say I am ready. :) :) THANK YOU MAGGIEEE!!

The store is reasonably priced and has gorgeous dresses. However, the owner, who is the only one running the store, will not help you with anything. She is also very disorganized. I ended up buying my dress here but the stress of making sure it got in on time (she would never let me know she even ordered it, take my telephone number when I called, and then never call me back; when it came in she didnt bother to call me; and although I called her repeatedly to make sure my dress was ready for pick up, the dress was not ready. Also be aware that when she quotes you a price of a dress, she will charge "extras" to make up for the discounted price, so it may not be the best deal. Also, she is very rude and will not apologize if she makes a mistake, or attempt to make it better. She will just make excuses. Ive heard many excuses. Unless you want added stress before the wedding, go elsewhere!!!!
