If youre looking for a stress-free wedding dress experience, I highly suggest avoiding this salon. I went there because I found an Alvina Valenta dress online I was in love with and this was the closest shop that had a sample. When I went to try it on I received great service - helpful attendants, assurance that my dress would arrive in plenty of time and remarks on how amazing their in-store tailor was. I loved the dress so I purchased it from them. I bought the dress in December and was told it would arrive late February/early March for my May wedding giving me plenty of time for fittings before the big day. February came and went without a word, as did March. By mid-March I began to worry so I called the store, left a message and heard nothing. Left another message, nothing. Finally they returned my call and told me, "Oh it should be here in the next 2 weeks or so." I was a pretty easy going bride so I was fine with that, thinking 6 weeks was plenty of time for fittings. Well, a month came and went with no word. We were now in mid-April with my wedding THREE WEEKS away and I had no dress. I called the shop again (they hadnt made any attempts to contact me) and went through the process of leaving voicemails and not receiving a response. By the time I was able to get ahold of someone they told me "Were not sure why it hasnt arrived yet. We havent heard anything from the designer." Uh, not helpful at all!! To make a long story short, I had to directly contact Alvina Valenta to figure out the status of my dress and make sure it was sent to the shop. They confirmed that the shop had made no attempt to contact them to see what was going on with my dress and why it hadnt arrived. Bridal Elegance was absolutely no help.. never offered to try and figure out where my dress was or why it hadnt arrived, it was like once I paid for the dress they could have cared less about whether or not it came. To top it off, the sales associate told me when buying my dress that all the alterations were done in house and were included in the price. Not the case. I was charged an extra $350 to fit the dress. It wasnt done correctly the first time so I asked to have it fixed, and they charged me $50 for that despite all my troubles because the tailor was "freelance and needed to be paid for her time. we arent able to waive those fees." Also, their tailors appointments were "fully booked" the week of my wedding so I wasnt event able to do a final fitting! And unfortunately I wasnt completely satisfied with the final fit on my wedding day. My mom picked up my dress and didnt know to pay the extra $50 so when I returned from my honeymoon I had several voicemails from the shop and tailor harassing me for their $50. I dont know how this place is still in business. RUN FOR THE HILLS!!

Ive been to several wedding salons, and although they were all very friendly, Stacy at Bridal Elegance, made me feel as if Im one of her own. Since I stepped foot in the store, I was always greeted with with a smile and allowed me to take my time to browse her store. There was never a moment of pushiness nor did I ever feel like I was being SOLD a dress. She really listened to my wants and patiently brought me her suggestions, which were all beautiful. I went back about 5 or 6 other times and finally found a dress I fell in love with, on a postcard she had on her desk. I asked her about the gown and she really knew her stuff. She said that she would be getting that sample in mid-December, being that it was a brand new dress, not yet released. Sure enough, I got the phone call that I had been waiting for - THE DRESS had just arrived. I tried it on and wasnt convinced it was the one, but after coming back twice there-after, I finally let down my guard and allowed my feelings to take over; the dress I fell in love with on a postcard was the dress that I had been dreaming of! Because of Stacys patience, expertise, and genuine care, I will marry my sweet-heart in the the gown that I have always dreamed of. Thank you Stacy for being so professional and caring! I would highly recommend going to Bridal Elegance in Torrance because of the customer service and the selection of gowns they offer are gorgeous and very affordable!

I vow to make a search for them on every search engine out there just to put my review. What theyre doing is not acceptable. My wedding is in 3 weeks and I have not seen my dress yet. I was told that my dress would come in 1st week of April and there will be plenty of time for alterations. Until now I do not have my dress. I was so excited because they carry the dress I found on a magazine. When I sent in an e-mail for an appointment Stacey was quick to response. On a weekend at night time, she didnt have a problem setting up an appointment for me. Now its time to know where my dress is, **poof** she vanishes. Avoid this store at all cost! Brides are already stressed out planning their wedding and this store will just add into that. On April 28th I got this e-mail from Stacey after multiple e-mails to her: "Just got an update on the dress. It is clearing customs and should be in next week. Sorry for not getting back to you sooner but I have been out of town and just got back in earlier today and had to get caught up. Ill give you a call as soon as it arrives." I wonder if they read this review or just a coincidence that they sent an e-mail reply the same day I wrote the review on yelp....hhhmmm... On May 5th ago I sent an e-mail asking for the tracking number. I havent heard from Stacey yet.

Bridal Elegance is, by far, the best bridal salon I have visited. This was the first place I went to try on dresses. At the time, I wasnt quite ready to commit and simply wanted to feel out what kind of dress I would like. They were incredibly accommodating, were able to immediately figure out what dress fit all my criteria, and made the entire appointment very enjoyable. When I went to other salons in the area, I felt pressured into buying a dress right there and then - this was not the case at Bridal Elegance. They recognized that buying my wedding dress was a huge decision, and made me feel very comfortable in waiting to make sure I was getting the right one. I loved Bridal Elegance so much, that after visiting several other places to try on more dresses, I ended up returning back there and buying a dress from them! Not only do they have an awesome selection, their customer service is amazing. Thanks so much Bridal Elegance!

My friend got her wedding grown from here and I loved their customer service. When it was my turn to find my wedding gown I knew I wanted it from Bridal Elegance. They didnt carry the dress I had seen at another salon, so the owner ordered it for me and matched the price. The salon is so beautiful and they make you feel and look like a princess. They carry very beautiful and couture gowns for every price range. I got so many complements on my gown and everyone thought is was a very expensive designer gown (someone even asked me if it was a Vera Wang)! Petra, the seamstress did an awesome job, and made my dress look like it was made just form me! Thank you Bridal Elegance!
