I have been coming to this dealership for almost 2 years, since I moved to Simi. It was not brilliant to begin with, and has gone downhill in the last year or so. The people in the Service Department are not friendly and very unhelpful. I had a problem with my passenger mirror that I wanted to get fixed. When it first occurred a few months ago, I called to find out what part I needed exactly, since it was a repair I could do myself. I was told that a representative from the Service Department would be get back to me. They never did. Then, last week I called to make an appointment for my normal service and to get that same mirror repaired (this time by them). I specifically mentioned that I need to replace the glass part of the passenger mirror so that they could have it available when I got in for my appointment. Took my car in this morning, and turns out that they dont have the part in stock and have to get it from another dealership. When I asked why they didnt have the part, when I had specifically mentioned that this needed to be replaced, their response was "I dont know". Absolutely no attempt to speed up the process or anything like good customer service was offered. I simply had to wait for them to get the part in. The only good thing that came out of this trip was that the car was ready earlier than they had estimated; however, when I went to pick up the car, the Service guy said that everything was fine. Before I drove away, I looked at the diagnostic sheet that was attached to my receipt and was alarmed to see that there were 2 items that were marked as "Take Care Immediately". Concerned that something hadnt been disclosed, I had to go back in to find out what those two items were and whether or not I needed to take care of them. The service guy found out that they actually could be taken care of the next time I returned. But that really should have been explained when I went in to pay, rather than me needing to go back in to find out. All in all, lousy customer service and no apparent concern or desire to improve service. Will be looking into finding another dealership to take my car to. In the mean time, just have to expect that my questions wont be answered and that repairs will take longer than anticipated even when you give them a heads up. UPDATE 3/11/17: months after bringing my car in to have the side mirror replaced, my husband found the broken mirror part stashed between he hood and the windshield. For the service appointment today, I hinitialy submitted a request through the website. What a waste of time. After. It bearing anything. Ack from the online appointment request, I finally called the service department. They seemed totally unconcerned that they had never received/never responded to the online request. Then I had to wait over a week for an appointment and I mentioned when making the appointment that I needed everything taken care of in 1 trip. When I arrived for my Sat morning appointment, was informed that they couldnt do anything mechanical because it was a Sat. The rep who made the appointment really should have mentioned this, esp since I made a point of saying that my time was limited for bringing the car in/back. If I could give negative stars, I would.

i recently purchased a vehicle, from simi valley dodge in 2014 in the month of september . i bought a certified preowned vehicle from the dealer a 2013 dodge challenger at this current time there has been no resolve to my purchase due to the fact that with in the last 5 months i had to turn in my car literally 4 to 5 times for reasons such as resurfacing breaks , reallignment of hood , visible dent on top of car , interior damage left strip of guard ripped computer failure in the back of dash board all red lights were on while driving the vehicle left lower bumper has a dent protruding outwardly .. i have a case manager who is working to find a resolve to the problems i am facing and have yet to here from her with hopefully other options.. im so upset with the way Chrysler is handling the situation .. i was told last week after asking if i should or should not by someone who has a high position at Chrysler to not pay for my vehicle tags ( because the tags were due last week ), this person mentioned(gm) twice as of last week to not pay for the tags to the vehicle(this was a clear indication that the matter was going to be resolved .. Chrysler gave me an option under the cdi program to buy back the loan and get me into a vehicle of my choice.. Chrysler had my vehicle in there shop for almost 1month and 2weeks prior to issues again with the vehicle such as torn interior to be fixed which was fixed, driver mirror vibrating which was fixed as well noise coming from r front wheel which they have claimed to not be abnormal and the left side of my bumper there is a dent that is protruding outwardly that has yet to be fixed yet was mentioned that they will fix it.. im so exhausted with this. Chrystler wanted to put me in a vehicle of my choice yet did not mention to me that i would have to pay almost 200 dollars more a month on top of the already 320 im already paying.. this was discussed with mac mckinley who is currently the sales manager at simi vallley dodge(he also mentioned that Chrysler was willing to buy back the loan) he was very inconsiderate about the frustrations i was dealing with and just wanted to make a sale rather then making sure i left the dealership happy and content knowing that i could trust the integrity of Chrysler after all the emotional frustration i had been through .. i ended up 05/12/15 paying for my tags with the added penalty because i cant even trust again the integrity of Chrysler....... i called simi valley chrysler to speak with the gm and he was with a customer and could not take my call 05/13/15 left a message with the receptionist to have the gm call me back at my office.. resources tell me to take my concerns to the better buisness bereau and dca and legal action if necessary .. im so upset .. i feel i have been frauded by this dealership.. this is so dissapointing.. i never experienced such dissapointment .. i even bought them pizza because i felt that they were going to make sure that me as the consumer and a purchaser of there product would be satisfied with there resolve to this matter of high importance so in advance i bought pizza for the team to tell them thank you and this is how they treat there valued customers..very, very upset

About a month ago I had gotten new wheels, tires, and a lift kit put on my new 2016 Jeep Renegade. A little while after the installation, my car decided that everything electronic component was broken at the same time. I was driving with friends and all the sudden all the warning lights started coming on saying service 4 wheel drive, service torque steering, service park break, service abs, service hill descent...etc. I was very upset about this as the car is basically brand new and should not be having these problems. It was early in the morning when this happened so I first took it to West Valley Chrysler Jeep to see if it was something that could just be fixed quickly like a computer reset. We waited there for a bit and they come out and immediately blame my new tires and lift. I told them there are so many people that lift their Jeeps and put way bigger tires on them than me and no one has these computer problems. They proceeded to tell me that it was the tires that were confusing the computers and that I should probably put my stock tires and wheels back on. So I took my car and left and called 4 wheel parts who installed everything (they did not believe that the tires were the problem and have done this lift and tires on other Renegades with no problems) and they told me to try taking it to Simi Valley Jeep because they have done work for them and actually just lifted a Renegade for their dealership. So I drove it over there where I talked to Zach, I believe, and told him my story and what West Valley had said. He kind of laughed at that and agreed that it was most likely not the tires. So I left my Jeep there, and got a rental car which was covered under warranty. A few days later they called and told me it was just a bad wheel speed sensor. It was fixed, under warranty, and they did not say anything about my car being modified. I was so relieved. Everyone there was very friendly and nice to me right from the beginning. It was a little challenging to get in contact with the service department while my car was there but I guess they were just busy. If I have any future problems, my car is definitely coming back here though and if you have a lifted Jeep or truck, I think this is the dealership to go to!
