We bought 2 hamsters there today at 1pm. They got one Syrian hamster and one white dwarf, the latter happened to be the runt. We fed and watered them immediately. We had the dwarf hamster in the take home box for about 30 minutes with us in the car, then placed her in a hamster ball in the shade in some grass. The dwarf was dead within 20 minutes. We thought maybe he was small and stressed and succumbed to the stress of multiple habit changes. We brought the Hamster back for what we assumed was a "sick to begin with" hamster, but we were met with anger and hostility from the staff accusing me of over-heating the hamster in its playball. We went through 3 people, an associate, a store manager and finally Nancy the store leader. All had preassumed ideas that we had intentionally harmed or neglected the hamster to cause its untimely demise. They didnt even ask us anything about what happened and just blamed us from the beginning. No one said "sorry," only harsh judgement on front of all the other store customers. They even referred to their own pet warranty and falsely referenced their "3-4 day quarantine" from other pet period as a "3-4 day no playing with the hamster," period. I was only able to get a refund, and only reluctantly from Nancy after having pointed out their error in their interpretation of their own warranty, after having been branded a hamster killer. I will never do business with them as it seems this is not the first episode, per previous reviews, and they are quick to judge. Having had many animals, all lovingly taken care of with products from this and other petsmart stores, Im severely disappointed, disrespected, and offended at todays events. The events today solidify to me that petsmart was all about profits and cheap "pet farming" practices. Please find a reputable pet shop for your own pet needs... one that cares.

Growing Dept sucks really bad. All women that weigh maybe 100 lbs soaking wet and the book like 8 dogs to get groomed of all sizes. Like these idiots can handle dogs that are fighting. Never taking my dog to a groomers like this again. Dogs barking and growling at each other and these so called groomer idiots cant handle the dogs, but its the dogs fault because they cant handle them. This place sucks ass and the people there are idiots for scheduling so many different size dogs together since they cant handle them.

The people here were disrespectful and wouldnt sell my wife a replacement goldfish saying we killed the fish because our tank wasnt big enough. Sounds like they were trying to profit on the death of a fish at Christmas. Sorry but will never shop with you again. And now get to explain what death is to my 5 year old. But they sold her two fish that equal the same size.
