By far one of the worst stores and staff (manager in particular) I have ever run into. It was suggested by a co worker to check this place out so I decided to go in and buy some feeders for my reptiles and amphibians. When I got to the reptile/fish section, I went to ask one of the staff members about what kinds of feeders they carried (different species, insects, worms, rodents etc) and the woman working there (before I even spoke) looked at me, sighed, and said "what do you want?!" in such a horrible and bothered tone I was actually taken aback. I have never met this woman nor had any experience with this place so I thought, maybe shes just having a bad day. No. I asked her about the feeders and she started to just repeat, "what do you want!" I re-replied "I want to know what kinds of feeders you have, different insects, worms, rats etc." She was so bothered by my response that she started to practically yell and go off about the subject. I couldnt believe this woman was so rude and unprofessional. Meanwhile she was putting back water bottles on the rodent cages that were completely rusty and unclean (like they get clean maybe once a month, if that). I looked around and found most of the reptile/fish and rodent area dirty and unclean and red flags started to go off. Despite this, I ended up getting a few feeder insects (how bad could they be right?) and leave such a poor place and not come back. When I got into the car I checked on some of the worms only to find that they were All Dead. Every. Single. One of them, and yes, they are supposed to be alive. So I walk back into the store to get my money back (receipt says I have up to 7 days to return items) and the checkout man (also in a horrible mood) goes and gets the manager. Guess who shows up? The woman who was so rude and horrible appears...yep shes the manager. I tell her and show her that the worms are infact dead and I want a full refund. She looses it, starts to yell, says they are fine, just sleeping (no dude, they are black, decaying with mold, and the rest have no signs of life, they are infact dead). I re-explain, once again, they are dead and that the receipt is good for 7 days, and the purchase is for Live feeders, not dead ones. After more squabbling and her rudeness combined with what seems sheer hatred for life, I finally get my refund for the dead feeders. In the end, I have told all of my friends, family and co workers to Never go to this place. The service is deplorable, the manager should be fired for such a rude and horrible attitude, and the place is a mess (the animals, yes even the feeders, need far better care than what they are getting). If there was such a thing as negative stars, this place would be getting them. Dont waste your money, time or kindness on such a horrible place.

Im writing this review to spare other dog lovers the grief Ive gone through thank God my dog is alright . I think Pet Club is a great store. Prices are very reasonable for the most part. My concern is where the snack bar lies .Ive been buying my dog ,dog snacks from the snack bar, it had crossed my mind about the dog snacks being exposed to anything .until my dog became sick after eating them . My first thought was something tainted I imagine most of the snacks have preservatives to keep them fresh. After looking into the latched air tight tupperware container I noticed worms and moths all around I took the remainder back and refunded me what I had purchased, I mentioned it might be a good idea to maybe put covers over the snack containers , dont know if they took my advice Ill be purchasing sealed bag dog snacks from here on out ,(notice the flies flying around the snack bar made me a believer) my dog means to much to me to take my chances , I can bet nothings been done to address this issue .COVER those snack bins Pet Club As a loyal customer I will still shop there but am steering clear of the tainted snack bar . Dog owners take caution my dog recovered this was the 2nd incident there wont be a third .

I like the store, products and the prices are way better than that pet store across the avenue, but I wish you would better organize the merchandise. I wandered all over looking for two cat items. Supplies for cats and dogs are too scattered around the store. The fish and bird supplies seem to be grouped at one end. Lucky for their owners. The first two staff members I asked for assistance were stocking dog food and did not know what isle to direct me to and the third just said, "If we have it, it would be on isle 3B and pointed off yonder. That was disappointing, but the better prices are still worth going in for.

The store is big and easily competes with stores like petco and petsmart. Bought 2 easy walk harnesses for around 22 dollars each. Same harnesses advertised at petco and petsmart for around 25 and 30 dollars. Also looked at feeder goldfish, 12 for 1$. I believe they are 12 cents a piece at walmart. Staff was friendly and offered to let my daughter hold guinea pigs. Between the prices and service I have made this my first choice for a pet store.

Im glad they came to Santa Rosa. Great prices on canned food for my cats and their fish and cat toys etc are very fair priced. The only thing I cant get is high-end dry cat food, but otherwise I get everything else there. Gals that work there are sweet and helpful. An aside, I dropped my bank card there and didnt realize it until I was near home and rushed to my bank and they had called it in before Id reported it. :)

I want to the Store to give my dogs a bath , the girl working as the cashier was very rude and told us that the bath was closed , and when my wife asked to talk to a manager she pointed out the wrong person and than than tried to call us liars , when we asked to see the sign ,there was no signs any where , very unprofessional.

This is my favorite pet store. The store has a great selection of tropical fish and very knowledgeable staff. I always receive great friendly service and advice from Dawn, Kelley and Pam. I dont know the names of the cashiers, they are always friendly and helpful.

Its old kinda hard to find there is a store cat that walks around the store :) they had a pretty good selection of stuff i felt there prices were a little higher then big bix stores but when it comes to health food for animals they have a pretty good selection

Pretty cool place to go. Its huge and has a big selection of items to pick from. They have everything. Beds, toys, treats, food, training items... The list goes on and on. Dont ask about their spiders being for sale though... bit of a touchy subject...

I always find the store to be very friendly and they have great dog baths there. They give you everything towels shampoo hair dryer great big sinks that are high enough to give your big dog a great bath.
