Wow, too bad I cant give these jokers 0 stars. I went there yesterday to buy a laptop and there was this 29 year old balding monkey who, I think, stole a best buy shirt cause he sure didnt work there. I wish I got his name so I can put him on blast personally but anywho, I hover around the new Asus checking it out for a good 20 min until I realize monkeys dont offer customer service so I go to the monkey and ask if he could check if they had it in stock. Before I could say a word the monkey says "sorry dude Im going to lunch". I just ignore the monkeys attempt to communicate and turn to his relief to check. They were out of stock of course so I leave. I wasnt going to buy it anyways because of the monkey though. When I get to my truck low and behold theres that stupid monkey again but hes freaking out because his wife, a cow, couldnt get out of her parking spot? Ummmm maybe thats why they dont offer drivers lisences to cows. So after listening to this monkey and a pregnant cow yelling at me for a couple seconds I told them a couple suggestions of what they could eat and just left those two animals to figure out how to back up a car. I go into office depot and they had the same computer for $150 less then best buys sale price. So, in a way thank you for having no standards when you hire people you saved me $150. And to YOU pathetic balding monkey enjoy making your $12 an hour for the rest of your life. Ill tell you right now theres no way youll be able to support your cow and unborn calf with that kind of money. HA HA! If anyone every goes to best buy bring the monkey a banana hes the guy with red hair around his head none on top and his cow of a wife drives a burgundy Lexus SUV that they missed last months payment on.

Best Buy to me is one of the saddest examples of "Big Box" retail. I have never gone in and gotten more information from anyone than I already knew myself - thats when I can get anyone to help me at all. I went in last week and was milling around the store and had no one offer to help even when I was obviously confused about where things were. I was looking at Windows 7 about 10 feet away from three young women who worked there, and none of them stopped their chatting for a moment for me to make eye contact, let alone offer to help me. If you do your research online in advance, and you just need a place to walk in and buy what you want - its often a reasonable choice. They have good prices and are open late. They will try to sell you Geek Squad service contracts because you will get absolutely NO support once you walk out of the store. You cant even get support from the manufacturer (I bought a Gateway) unless you buy a contract from them. If you can do your own tech. support, or if you can get it from Microsoft, they do have good prices and a reasonable selection. If the PC you buy fails and you dont return in within 14 days, you will have to ship it back to the manufacturer for them to honor the warrantee. Unfortunately, these stores have driven out all of the high-service "Mom and Pop" stores, so you dont have a lot of options. Personally, if you are a technical person, I recommend you save the service contract money. Use it to buy good reference book on the operating system and software applications on Amazon, and DVDs to back up your data.

This store is horrible! Every single time I have gone in there, I dont recieve the help needed or I get stuck with someone who can care less. Often, the guys are too busy talking about their weekend or flirting with their female counter-parts. I went in to buy a computer, and guess what. They only had 12 in stock.... but I HAD to buy the geek squad thing for $100... um, no. I want to pay the advertised price on line. I went home, and did a little more research online. I called this time to check to see if they had the next choice in mind, and asked them to check the shelf to make sure that this computer didnt have the "upgrade" from geek squad. They told me over the phone it was my choice on if I wanted that service or not. So I went down there yet again, and after 20 minutes of waiting flagged someone down to get this computer. Guess what... They ALL had the geek squad "upgrade". I think the guy who helped me saw I was very frustrated and I asked if I had to pay extra for something I didnt want. He waived the fee. Needless to say, Dont go here. It has cause soooo many headaches, and when you go somewhere to spend your hard earned money... you dont need to get treated badly by some kid... especially when you are dropping $650!

I bought a Toshiba HD Flat Screen TV from Best Buy in May or June. Around November it would not turn on. I called Best Buy and they sent out a Geek 1 week later. He ordered a part. He was due back in 2 weeks but got sick. I am watching my only other TV that is about a 13" screen. Finally he comes back but has the wrong part. Then he comes back in a week or so with the right part the TV worked for 2 hours and went out again. Now its Christmas.... Long story short, I got tired of waiting for these boobs to make good on their warranty. Toshiba and Best Buy both pointed fingers at each other. I have never had a problem returning anything at Target so I went over there and bought a larger HD Flat Screen TV made by Vizio. I will never go back to Best Buy again unless absolutely desperate. I use to like Toshiba but not anymore. The kicker was that the customer service person was snotty to me when I originally called and made it sound like it was my fault for not reading Toshibas lousy warranty. I looked good at the time. I am out $400.00 or so but they wore me down.

Went to the store to look at tablets. Horrible customer service, rude employees, and totally ignorant of the products they carry. The first employee that tried to help was nice but didnt really know much about the products. The second was a Microsoft guy who didnt really tell us much about the Surface and never even picked the product up to show us the features. Then we went to the Samsung center. The guy manning the booth saw us playing with the tablets for about 5 minutes while he was helping customers. I approached the counter and waited off to the side while he helped someone until he told me that if I had more than a quick question hed have to call someone because he was going on his mandatory break. Then 2 women walked up and he said the same thing to them, at which point they said they had a complicated question and he proceeded to help them leaving my fiance and I standing there dumbfounded. I will NEVER go back to this BestBuy to spend my hard earned money and neither should you! They dont know the product and the employees treat it as a hang out.
