We just bought an LG dryer with free shipping and installation promised. (Free installation only with $25 venting kit available, which we bought.) Everything went smoothly until the would-be installer looked at the 1/2-inch valve connection from the gas line gas line and told us he couldnt install the dryer until we changed it to a 3/8 connection. He said hed come back to install it when we replaced the connection, a major job. This was totally bogus, but it confused us till he could make his getaway. He could have used the perfectly good flexible hose from the old, dead dryer, simply attaching to the new one. I speculate that the installer may have had a policy of replacing the hose with a new one - reasonable enough - but may have had only a 3/8-inch flexible hose with him. But 1/2-inch is the standard because it delivers gas at a faster rate, drying clothes faster. (The 1/2- to 3/8-inch adapter goes between the hose and the dryer and probably was on our old one.) With a useless dryer in our garage, we got a crash course on installation, learning the above. We made lemonade out of lemons by moving the dryer to a different location with $50 in extra parts and a Good Samaritan PG&E person volunteering to reroute the gas line two feet on the spot. (Five stars for PG&E!) Summary: Just because Best Buy promises free installation, dont hold your breath. Theyll bail on the least pretext.

The associate in the electronics department came to my Aid to seek out a charger for my Chromebook right away. However I am disappointed that Best Buy does not carry a charger for Chromebooks. Very very dis appointed as it is a inconvenience when someone spins around $300 for a unit that reportedly has a defect and cant be assisted conveniently at the store that they bought the unit from. In my opinion and the opinions of the one to two people that come into Best Buy each day requesting a charger plug for their Chromebook that has a defect on the tip of the charger that creates a loose tip that breaks off and makes it unable for 1 to charge the Chromebook hints slowing down the progress of whatever it is a person may need to do on their Chromebook, to Carey Chargers for the Chromebook so that we do not have to order from Amazon or Acer and wait 4 days to receive our product.

went there last friday to do an exchange for an Ipad Pro 32gb. i dont have the receipt but they made an exception that they will accept my unopened 32GB 12.9 Ipad pro and i can get the 128GB. i asked for price match which they verified at Staples. Robert (the manager) talked to Bianca (sales person) and told her to check with Staples and once its verified they will do an exchange. Bianca told Robert that its been verified and my receipt had been checked and verified also. suddenly Robert said I REFUSE YOUR EXCHANGE. he said it to me rudely and i asked whats the reason and he just said I REFUSE YOUR EXCHANGE. after that incident i saw him and Bianca high fiving. they even called security on me. i felt embarassed and humiliated. negative 5 for customer service. never going to best buy again. spread the words.

I purchased a Samsung induction range and over the range microwave from this store. The microwave was not in stock as they promised and I waited a month before it was installed. The induction burner on the range has failed twice, so I am on my third stove. The convection microwave makes a horrible clattering noise when it is used for convection baking for any length of time. Of course, I didnt discover this until after the stores 30-day warranty. When Samsung sent a service rep out to replace the fan assembly, they found that the installation done by Best Buy was inadequate and had damaged the unit. Im fortunate it didnt fall on the stove top. Ive dealt with 3-months of broken promises, faulty equipment and service calls. Not worth it!

I went to this Best Buy a year ago wanting a printer that was advertised in their most recent flyer. Surprise! It was out of stock. Their "better" alternative was this more expensive model that drank ink like it was going out of style. Ive had to go to four different places trying to find the main black ink replacement cartridge with no luck. At this same Best Buy, the salesman tonight said a cartridge for a Canon MP610 would fit my Canon MP620 because it was close. Well, I bought it, got it home and guess what? It doesnt fit! Dont rely on these guys to help you especially these days since the staff cant seem to get enough of the new iPad to adequately help customers.

I purchased a Dirt Devil vacuum and the extended warrantee. In 3 years, I had it fixed 5 times, due to defective parts. It took Geek Squad 8 weeks to figure it out and have it serviced. Ive received voice mails and e-mails that it has been in the process of service & being sent back. Ive been waiting for the past 2 weeks now for the vacuum to be shipped back from San Francisco (15 miles away). Now Ive called today for status and the manager says that it has NEVER been serviced or left the store. IVE BEEN LIED TO FOR THE PAST 9 WEEKS NOW! Im filing a complaint with BBB today. Worst Service EVER!

This place is not usually packed(unless its the holiday season), its clean and the staff are polite. I find coming here to be quite pleasant. The only thing is that sometimes there stock is rather low in comparison to other best buy stores which can prove to be a problem. I went there for headphones and they didnt have any in stock; however, the young lady helped me order them online and have them delivered to my house for free. Overall I highly recommend this place to my friends.

I was looking for beats headphones and asked the employe a question, "Does the headphone come with insurance". As I asked that question the employe looked at the other employe and replied "NO!!". She was very rude. After she said that she looked at my mom and I, and then looked back at another employe and started laughing. Which was again so rude!! As I was paying for the headphones she was continuously laughing while continuously looking at the other employee.

Probably the worst retail experience Ive ever had. Ive never written one of these, but this was a very especial experience. I dont wish to relive the particulars of my dismay here, but it was astonishing enough that I probably will avoid the entire chain from here on. Im sure that items are probably cheaper from giant corporate store volumes, but what a price to pay in customer respect and service.

Recently bought a printer that was not on display. I showed the sales person the online Sale item and this person helped us. Sure enough, it was on stock and we got the unit at the online Sale price. As is common to Best Buy stores, this one is a good place to window-shop, get your stuff and spend your Nerd time in. Clean restroom, courteous employees and overall gives you a good shopping experience.

Had to get a new in dash Radio for my Tacoma. Originally had a 1:15 appointment but got their at 11:30 and Ace got me in early ...less than 15 minute wait. He did a terrific job in just 30 minutes. I video taped his instructions on how to use my new blue tooth on my iphone and how to use the other buttons on this new system. He was Terrific! So was my sales person the day before. What a gentleman.
