I have had some pretty awesome experiences at gamestops around the USA, however, the one in small town Port Orchard was unbelievable. A previous reviewer by the name of Roderick said it best when he wrote, "The return policy alone makes this place completely ignorable. More often than not it feels like they couldnt possibly care less about customers present." I wanted to return a "new" unsealed game purchased a day ago that was not in working condition for a game in working condition (or refund). The female manager (do not care to remember names much) told me, "you have played the game, therefore we cannot accept it." The game did not get passed 15min of intro dialogue before freezing up. Thankfully, a gamestop store with superior customer service skills in Seattle exchanged my game. I am going to give the benefit of the doubt that perhaps the line of communication is not universal between all branches, or she was a newly trained manager, or perhaps it was just her "off day". We all deserve an off day. My problem is solved, but not by Port Orchards branch which is why I felt the need to leave a review for this store.

I saw the commercials joking about how they always offer 9 dollar on all trades but never thought they actually would. I took my son in to pre order Black Ops 2 and he purchased another game at the same time. 8 days later we go to bring that game back because it was not what it said it was and buy another game. My son paid 39.95 before tax and was looking to buy a brand new game at 59.95. They offered my son 12 dollars for this game! I could not believe it. When asked the guy why he replied, "Well, he has had it for some time." Some time? 8 days is some time. My son even had the receipt still in the case. After we pick Black Ops 2 tomorrow I probably will never go back to the place. Their pre owned games are overpriced and their trade in value is horrible. It is a complete racket.

Good place to find games you cant find anywhere else but theyll try sucking money right from you. Ive been looking forward to buying Dragon Ball Xenoverse for the 360 and granted its fairly new, I wanted to get it the cheapest I could. I started to compare prices between stores and found that Gamestop was the highest of all stores in Port Orchard. A brand new copy of this game at walmart is $6 cheaper than a pre-owned copy of it at Gamestop. Gamestop was my first thought when I thought about getting this game along with other games but after seeing their high prices ill be going to other stores first. Games are overpriced and their trade/sell system is wack. Good luck getting more than $12-$15 from a $60 game youve only had a week.

Let me preface this review by saying GameStop is GameStop and they will always and forever give you awful compensation for trade-ins. This review is about this location specifically. Ive never not had a positive interaction with the employees at this location. They are friendly, helpful, and generally arent aggressive with the upselling (Pro memberships, subscriptions, preorders, etc) like they are at other locations. Ive never been spoken down to for daring to be female nerd in a video game store. No nerd vs. nerd pissing contests. Just friendly people selling video games to people that want to buy video games. Imagine that. If you want a fair price for your used stuff, use eBay.

Pre-ordered Kingdom Hearts 2.8 limited edition and without letting me know they changed my order to unlimited. I went to pick up my game and they gave me the unlimited upon asking what was going on they told me they mustve run out before I ordered. I ordered over a month in advance. If this were any other game I wouldnt care quite so much, but I am very unhappy!

WORST GS OF ANY!! Selection piss poor and employees lazy as hell. Someone should talk to them about their pricing model. Seldom able to complete the most rudimentary task. They are supposed to be a Cricket authorized payment station. Lol what a joke. Of their 6 attempts only twice have they been able to pull it off.

Im from the other side of the water and I put a game on in-store pickup call the store the morning After to verify it was on hold they confirmed I drove all the way around the water both the gaming advisors in store were very nice and gracious for me coming all the way to their store

I have bought a few games here for a reasonable price. Staff has always been helpful and somewhat knowledgable. They do not however have a wide variety of games, which is slightly disappointing. Its hit or miss, I would suggest waiting for a sale.

I love this gamestop. Its a good location, good employees. Its not too cramped but still has a lot of merchandise. Best of all there is an atm in the parking lot outside. I have been to a few midnight releases and those were fun as well.
