I was very skeptical about using this flower shop, just because I have called and placed orders at about 4 different flowers shops this year and have not been one bit happy with any of the floral arrangements that were delivered. All I can say is that my search for a flower shop is finally over!! I had flowers delivered to my mother today and she called me as soon as she received them and told me that, from all of the flowers that I have ever sent her, these were the most beautiful ones she has ever received!! She said that all of the flowers were beautiful, colorful, fresh looking and smelt incredible, unlike the other flowers that she has received in the past from other flower shops where they had brown edges or missing petals. She also loved the purple vase the flowers came in, said it was a different touch/look from the regular clear ginger vase that flowers usually come in. I asked my mom to send me a picture of the arrangement and I was wowed when I received the picture. I literally went back into Edelweiss website to pull up the picture of the arrangement that I had ordered (Telefloras Fresh Flourish Bouquet) and pulled up my moms picture of the flowers that she received today and put both pictures side by side. All I can say is that my mom received exactly what I payed and hoped for!! Every single flower was arranged EXACTLY as it did on the picture of their website. It was an exact replica!! All the other flower shops that I used in the past never sent me the exact arrangement as what was shown on their website. They always used different flowers from what showed on the picture, different vases, and received smaller size arrangements than what was shown on their website. Edelweiss website has the actual measurements of each arrangement and my moms flowers were the exact size as what was mentioned on their website!! And one more thing to add, they delivered the flowers to my mom right on time!! I am a very happy customer and will definitely shop here again!! If you are wanting to send a special person some beautiful flowers, without getting ripped off, or deal with any stress or headaches, this is the place to shop at!! I strongly recommend this flower shop!!!

I should have paid more attention to previous reviews. I ordered flowers for my wifes birthday. I called the number on their website (a Santa Monica phone number) at 8:30 - better to call then go through the web I thought. I didnt realize I would be directed to their answering service. Told them what I wanted and when I needed the flowers delivered. "No problem, sir". Turns out their answering service directed the order to a florist in Ottowa! Of course I didnt know until I asked my wife how the flowers looked, "what flowers!"? When I called Edelweiss in Santa Monica the next day, they made it sound like I made an error, or never called. I called the back with the email from the Ottowa florist. At that point they were apologetic and said theyd bring this up with their answering service. Surprisingly, no effort at all form the Edelweiss staff in Santa Monica to right a wrong. Nothing more than a "sorry about that sir". They lost a customer, and I learned a lesson about folks who call themselves Mom and Pop. Avoid!

We ordered balloons for my nephews first birthday and Liz did an excellent job. She chose a nice variety of kids balloons, brought a nice complementary flower arrangement, delivered on time and even helped tie the balloons around our party area when she dropped off to us at the park! We will definitely be using Edelweiss for our future flower or balloon needs. I notice some reviews complaining about the answering service after hours. I think this issue has been addressed, because when I ordered Liz gave me a different number in case I needed to call before they opened in the morning (we had a morning party). I did happen to call to change the drop off to the park when I realized I had no way to drive 20 helium balloons to the park. Liz answered the alternate number and changed the drop off without a problem.

Just like the song from "The Sound of Music" so beautiful and graceful is the arrangement that I got from my husband. This is our favorite movie and for him to order flowers from Edelweiss Flower Boutique was so romantic. My arrangement was STUNNING! I had people come from different floors in my building just to see my arrangement and they even took photos of it. I was the talk of the office all week. It was the most incredible experience for me and I will only insist that my husband gets all my flowers from this florist. I was blown away!! Annette G.

Nice shop for high end flowers - priced as you would expect. They do have a great selection and the store is small but pretty. Service was not overwhelming, but because of lunch time there was only one person and the lady in front of me was clearly ordering for a mega wedding. I would go here too for that wedding: They have some truly outstanding flower displays. I was in for a small nice bouquet, paid a medium price and they lasted for quite a while.

NEVER, ever order from here! This shop is 5 blocks from our house! Feb 14th, Valentines Day!!! My husband ordered a Valentines bouquet a week before Feb. 14th and I never received it. At 6 when he got home he called this shop and the woman HUNG UP ON HIM, TWICE!!! He had paid a hundred bucks a week early for flowers to arrive on Valentines day that never came!!! We want our money back! This shop is 5 blocks from our house!!!

Its important to me to patronize local businesses whenever possible. I live in Indiana and have used this florist on many occasions to send holiday flower arrangements to my cousin in California. From the moment I called them for information they have gone above and beyond in their service. My cousin is always very pleased with the centerpieces she receives for her holiday table. They have some great flowers here. They can get really busy and there can be some long waits. The flowers are a bit expensive, but it is local, and nice to support a local business. They do have some greeting cards a few other sundries. They do deliver through various services.
