Ive been their customer for many years, all those years Ive placed all of my orders online. I love their flower arrangements, although pricey, but well worth it for me, because they are one of the best in quality and style. The reason for the two stars is because their customer service SUCKS! This last time around, I placed an order online as usual. Then I get a call from Kimberly leaving a message that the order did not go through completely and that I have to reorder or let her know if I want to cancel. Why would I want to cancel if I just placed the order?! When I called back within 2 minutes, I was placed on hold for 10 minutes, then without any explanation or apology, she proceeded to ask if I still want to order or just cancel. When I said I want to order, she said on the arrangement that you want, we dont have most of the flowers for, they are out of season, can we substitute? I said why would you have it on your website if most of the flowers are out of season. She said that she does not know, its not her department, her department is just to place the order. Finally, when I picked another arrangement and gave her the credit card, she says, fine, well deliver today. I said, its not supposed to go out today, I ordered it for tomorrow. She said fine, well deliver tomorrow, BYEEEE! That was her attitude. I think its time to switch my florist, unfortunately :(

THEY SEND OLD FLOWERS!!!!! MY FLOWERS LASTED 3 DAYS....AND THATS BEING NICE! The flowers that they sent were old, had brown edges and were already wilted. This place is not cheap, I called and she said that they must have been in poor air inside my house! Oh and the "cracked glass" vase that they charge for (that should be at the dollar store) was actually chipped! This place is JUNK!!! Save your money or at least spend it somewhere else!! ALL she had to do was offer something....anything, a discount off my next purchase or just replace them - I would have even gone to pick them up. But saying it was my fault...come on. I didnt even bother taking a picture of the arrangement for a keepsake.

I contacted them for a floral arrangement delivery for a good friend that lives in LA (called from Hawaii) and they knew exactly what my style was and suggested some styles that were on their website. They were so willingly to fit my budget into the arrangement that wont break the bank, but still gives that jaw-dropping reaction when its delivered. It was so quick and painless and would highly recommend them for a beautiful arrangement that fits into your budget! When my girlfriend got them, she told me they were so beautiful, she couldnt stop starring at them. Flowers can always make a girls day! Try them out, I promise you will feel great, because its the gift that keeps giving. Happiness!! :)

When it comes time to impress someone such as a client, business partner, colleague, or most importantly my wife (who happens to have a keener eye for details than I do), the Empty Vase delivers the message in the most eloquent way, but their out-of-this-world arrangements. The taste and talent at the Empty Vase is finalizing top designs and delivering unusual and unique arrangements keeps me on my toes, and leaves me wanting to go back for more, even if not for a special occasion. After all, who doesnt love a beautiful arrangement of flowers?

I had a bad experience, not once but twice at this place. The first was a phone order where the salesperson promised me the flowers would be beautiful and would arrive on time. The flowers were dropped off at the wrong address, and by the time it was received, the flowers were wilted, and unattractive. It was an expensive bouquet too, as all of their arrangements are TOTALLY OVERPRICED! The second bad experience was an in-store visit, where the salesperson was clueless about flowers, pricing and providing customer service. Stay away, and I recommend my one and one and only florist in LA (Jacob Maarse).

I cant tell you many compliments Ive gotten about the gorgeous ballroom since Saturday night! It was soooo beautiful, tasteful and yet youthful at the same time. Saeed, your designs wre spectacular....I was sorry to see it taken apart at the end of the evening and I thank you for making it such a memorable evening for me and my family. You are the best! Yvonne, you were so wonderful to work with and believe me when I tell you ...I had complete trust on you (that was pretty much as good as it gets for me!). Thank you for all your hard work. I look forward to the next time!

BEST florist in town! They always have the most original and most beautiful floral designs. And they dont just stop at flowers, you can even use the Empty Vase for event planning. They execute the most incredible events I have ever seen. I love that I can call or order online from the Empty Vase but if you have time to go into the shop in WeHo, plan to stay for a while. The shop is gorgeous and you can get lost in between all of the little goodies like scented candles, chocolate and even antique furniture. I love the Empty Vase!

Absolutely worst service for expensive flowers!!! I had the worst experience with this florist, after 25 e-mails all I got from was that they don’t have what I ordered and they will deliver something “nice” !!! Are you serious? If you can’t deliver what you advertised and have pictures for then say so, instead of saying it will be a nice bouquet. These guys are very unprofessional and clueless with outrages prices. You will have stress and your request will be ignored. Save yourself the time and aggravation and go somewhere else.

I came here yesterday in desperate need of a bouquet of flowers for my boss for Boss Day. The woman who worked there (the owner maybe??) whipped together one of the most beautiful bouquets I have seen. I just told her I needed a mix bouquet with some tulips in there and I gave her my price range and bam, it was on! She whipped up another one for my coworker to give to his boss. She made a similar one but used a different color and some different flowers. My boss loved it, and I did too.

My father recently passed unexpectedly and there were issues getting the funeral squared away so we were on a time crunch to get everything situated. This place has the BEST deals, even with tax and delivery (30 miles away), the price still beat local flower shops and the arrangement was bigger and better than expected.They were polite and very helpful. If youre in need of Patriotic for a funeral, standard Old Glory is beautiful!
