I had a really bad experience. My phone was constantly restarting before the android os would load. I thought it may be hardware related so I took my nexus 5 here for a look. He opened it up and after about 15 minutes, he returned my phone to me and said he didnt know what was wrong. Later that night, I was able to get the phone os to load and was able to perform a factory reset (all while constantly tapping the on/off button). The phone seemed to be working fine. The next day when I left my home, I noticed I was not receiving any mobile network service. I took it back to this place and the guy (who stated he didnt remember me from the night before) said a button to attach the wireless antenna to the board was missing. He took my name and number and said he would contact me when he got a new button from a dead board. He never contacted me. I took my phone to another cell repair shop and was told my board was damaged. Needless to say, I am very dissatisfied by the lack of service at this place and would not recommend it to anyone. If you value your phone take it elsewhere.

I had sat on my Samsung Galaxy S6 and bent the frame above the SD card. I went to a couple of other places and was told that the frame couldnt be fixed without replacing the screen as well which wouldve been over $120 for the service. I walked into Bay Area Phone Doctor and told Jamie what happened and in a matter of minutes, he was able to fix the issue without replacing the screen or anything else. I was super pleasantly surprised that he was able to do so at a great price and so quickly. Jamie was really friendly and very knowledgeable. I was in and out in about 5min. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for any phone repair issues.

Jamie at the Phone Doctor is a spitting image of a successful entrepreneur. Small but adequate shop, ample parking in back, no need to fight for street parking. Most will stumble in based on yelp reviews, but we saw a sign in the street and had a need so let them take a look. After repair he lets you test the phone and even fixed something else that had an issue. Fair prices, but more than an ebay DIY. Appears to take around an hour to repair an iPhone 6. Accepts the four major credit cards. Great success story, best of Willow Glen nominee. Last tip, wish I knew, but $5 off for checking in on yelp.

I was amazed by the service and price of this business. I had called and shopped around my area for a great price to fix my broken screen for my more obscure phone model (Nexus 5). Not only was this place the cheapest (by $50) it was also the quickest! Everywhere else I called it was going to take hours or even a day, here it took 30 minutes! I was was able to run an errand and then my repair was ready! Jamie even replaced the front camera on my phone for FREE which was damaged as well from the cracked screen. They will be handling all my phone issues from now on!

Jamie who owns and runs this cell phone electronics repair company is great.He speaks fluent English . Im sure some of you can relate sometimes you cant understand the person that youre trying to pay to fix your product not the case here this guys awesome come see him hes open seven days a week. Super friendly easy parking its off of Lincoln in San Jose. Park in the back. use Google Nav. youll have no problem.

This is the best place I have ever been to fix a phone. The quality of service and prices are exceptional. I had to replace an LCD display on my iPhone 6 (refurbished from Assurant) and they did it in less than 2 hours, also dropping in a new battery, I had previously bought, for free. They noticed that there were inside screws missing or loose, and they added them free free of charge. Outstanding.

Great Guy Jamie , Best prices for screen repair , timely service , good customer friendly attitude , this guy is a hidden gem amongst the repair guys. Gets his job done and with a finesse of an expert. Got my S7 cracked screen and back replaced. Highly recommend this shop for anyone from this area. He has used old cellphones for cctv now thats what I call a thinker and a environment saver .

I highly recommend the Phone Doctors for any type of phone repair. These guys are fantastic. They fixed my cracked screen for less than the deductible on my phone insurance. They have a very knowledgeable and curious staff. My phone was fixed in about 20 minutes and I saved myself a bunch of time and money. I will use the Phone Doctors again anytime I have a phone repair need.

I went in thinking I needed one type of repair, but Jamie suggested another approach which was faster and cheaper! I couldnt be happier. I left there thinking about all the other devices I own that could use a little face lift (new screen, new battery, etc.). Excellent, fast, reliable service. This guy knows phones and is super honest. I brought in a phone that I thought was ruined from water damage. They fixed it and its been working perfect for almost a year. Since then Ive used them for my wifes cracked iphone screen and they always do a great job. Highly recommend for phone repairs.

I dropped my LG Nexus 5 and shattered the screen. Not only did Jaime have the parts to replace the screen, but he also stayed a little later to complete the swap. Great service, really quick turn around time. I would highly recommend this place if you need to repair you shattered screen.

I had my Nexuss battery replaced, and at first I was happy with the work. The next day, I discovered that the NFC radio wasnt working. Luckily, it was something that I could fix myself, but Im taking off one star for this oversight
