I have to give at least two stars for the fact that they sell guppies as feeder fish; most shops only sell goldfish. BUT... There were some dead fish in the tank, which isnt the greatest sign to begin with. The owner was the one who got the fish out for me (he and his wife were the only two in the store). I found a dead fish in the bag, and he ARGUED with me about it! Another was dead by the time I got home, and theres one in the bottom of the tank now that Im sure is not going to make it. They have a big sign saying "no returns, no refunds, no exchanges; it is your responsibility to check your livestock." Pretty harsh.

Though they are mainly for fish, this is where I buy my dog food which is hard to find made by UC Davis. They are extremely knowledgeable when it comes to what products they carry. Though Ive never bought a pet from them so I have no idea about the other reviews but what I do know is that they know me by name after the first few visits and they always ask about how my puppy is and my family. This truly is a family business that I hope stays around for a long time.

This is my favorite pet store! The people that work there are very nice and helpful. They usually know what I need, even if Im there for fish food for my tank, they always ask if I need mice for my snakes or worms for my geckos. They always give me good advice when it comes to keeping all my animals happy. I have everything I need in one shop for my cat, dog, lizards, turtle, snakes, frogs and fish.

This is the most honest, fairly priced, and personal local pet store! They really dont make them like this anymore. The owner and his wife have gotten to know my whole family and are ALWAYS sincere and professional. Theyve ordered products as needed and are always well stocked in our regular necessities. Couldnt ask for a better family run business!!

Not very clean, organized, although the kind gentleman that helped me was very sweet. Although there was a large sign in front saying "Liquidation Sale", I wasnt sure if they were going out of business???

Friendly and helpful staff. Great variety of quality products for Fish, Birds, Cats, Dogs, Hamsters, and more. Dont see what you need? Just ask. I bet they have it! I like this place a lot.

Everything about this place is dirty, disgusting and scary. Merchandise covered in dust. Fish tasks choked with algae. Cages overflowing with fecal matter. Dont even bother.
