Just Me
Store is too small and theres always long lines. The isles are really close, so its hard to navigate your shopping cart. Its a very dirty store and Ive seen spoiled fruit and produce there. Its the closest store to my house, but I always drive past it and go to Luckys even if I only need one thing. Best time to go is early morning or really late at night, otherwise youll be stuck in a huge line at check out.

As a Safeway, its pretty standard. The produce is garbage. I have found moldy strawberries still for sale. The taro roots are hilariously small. The leeks are inexplicably good. The meat is also pretty wack. Most of the fish is previously/currently frozen, and there is no butcher counter. The craft beer/cider selection is well curated. Expect to wait inordinately long for a cashier.

Okay, the thing with this place is this: if you need one of those wax-paper wrapped individual pies, you know, the junk food, fruit filled pies that you used to love as a kid... and its late at night... this place has it. If you are smart enough to get your pie fix while the sun is still up, the store brand that they carry at the Lucky across the freeway from here are way better.

Today i walked into this Store and immediately became disgusted and sickened by all of the cashiers definition of customer service. I wasnt greeted professionally .& you all are selling perishable items i brought it to your alls attention & i get looked at as if im lying . i will never set foot in any of the Safeway stores again !!!!

The deli doesnt have enough workers at dinner time I waited over 20 mins for some chicken .especially in the hot weather there should be at least 4 people not 2 I felt bad for those girls Safeway heads should be ashamed of themselves for never having enough checkers and deli / bakery workers ridiculous

Ive shopped hear for 40+ years its layed out well, easy to find things workers are helpful only bad thing the lines will be 1registeer and 10 people in it they recently dont open another line maybe another checker especially morning time would be helpful

This Safeway is usually quite gloomy..not suprised at all by the distasteful comments. Now days my shopping experience with the Safeway in Pinole Ca,. is quite loathing with the excruciating long checkout lines and of course unhappy checkers.

The store is really crowded/cramped for space. It shows its age. First time here I had a hard time with the shopping cart. Not in the best area. Guy tried getting in my car and claimed he was confused and went looking for the right car.

One of the original large Supermarkets in the North Bay area. Lots of nostalgia, great prices, locally owned with a great staff. Inside is a flashback to grocery shopping in the 70s. Many teenaged memories at this store.

This is a standard neighborhood grocery store, fresh produce, and reasonable prices. This Safeway doesnt take on the traditional look of most Safeway stores, there is a Signature Cafe but is reduced to what it sells.

Closest Safeway, but not favorite. Many times Im finding products out of a date on shelves. Always huge lines, 4-5 registers in store but only 1-2 open. No self check-out. They should hire more people there.
