Today was an amazing day with the Sprouts of Albany, we made a catering order on Wednesday for my team so we could provided them lunch on Saturday. When i arrived i was immediately attended to, with my catering order, as they place the trays in the cart, i notice that something did not look right. I expressed my concerned to the associate, who promptly brought over a Gentlemen named Ryan, who from start to end gave me the best service i could of asked for, he made sure that i was taken care of and that the mistake was undone, and that i left happy . Which i did, and i must say thumbs up RYAN keep up the great work and as a representative of Toyota Of Berkeley we will continue to conduct business with Sprouts. The Food was Delicious my team enjoyed every single item... Thank you Ryan and the Deli team! You guys were great!!!!

Dont listen to the review stating that the prices are higher than whole foods. That review also states that they were in the vitamins section trying to flag down am employee, on a busy opening weekend. Reviews need to be more honest and fair. It is likely this person was comparing prices on vitamins not good. Sprouts has always been great quality food at a very fair and affordable price, unless you get ready made foods, they can be a little higher. None the less, Sprouts is a great option for shopping or a cheap lunch (sandwiches under $5). The store is also much more open than whole foods and easy to find what you need. I am extremely happy to have a Sprouts in our neighborhood finally!

Update: Theyve fixed their item shortage to meet demand. I frequent them now. Everyone is SUPER friendly. Previous post: I would give them 5, but they have consistently been out of the few staple items I need each time I go. Prices are better than other walkable stores. Employees are nice. Lots of Celiac friendly choices. Just wish their purchasing person would stay on top of dairy and meat products! Otherwise, it is a nice place to have in Albany.

A welcome addition to West Berkeley/Albany. Think of a Whole Foods without the pretension, hot line, salad bar, or impact on your wallet! Carries a large variety of produce - mostly organic. Not to the vast extent of Berkeley Bowl, but with all the common stuff and a bit of the uncommon as well.

Meat seems to be a fair price, bakery section leaves alot to desire, no cakes. Very busy grand opening but prices are honestly a little higher than whole foods down the road, no customer service either, I had to flag a employee down for help with MCT oil in their vitamin section.

This store specializes in natural & organic foods. I found some items that I have never seen elsewhere. The store has Ozery breakfast rounds and snack rounds. The rounds are delicious. Everyone I have served the rounds to has loved them.

Great prices. There are large produce, meat and bulk sections. Significantly cheaper than whole foods which is around the corner.
