Went in for an interview for a job with the owners who were husband and wife. The wife didnt want me to say the name of my last employer when answering their questions. I guess I said WALMART too many times. The questions were .....Tell me about a time when you performed excellent customer service in detail, Do you mind being told what to do by an 18-year manager and What would your last employer say about your work ethic. She mentioned that her customers dont like the place and are more classy then to shop at that place. You know which place, right? It is the one I cant mention. Also like to note that their workforce was clearly one nationality.

So they have good prices on a lot of items that are close to expiration and super wine steals. But the store can be a mess sometimes and their new bag or backpack policy is ridiculous. I had my laptop bag since my car is a jeep. And I was escorted out due to not wanting to give up my bag with a $1500 laptop. The staff is 50/50 the asst MGR or whoever made me leave had a very bad attitude. If you are getting wine and dont mind being treated like a criminal I recommend it.

Bought some groceries here several weeks ago & didnt pay attention to the expiration date, (my error). Took home and realized I had 1 week to eat, knew i couldnt possibly finish it by then but already had thrown out receipt. Went back to store, explained my situation of wanting to possibly return a couple of items. They said they could give me store credit, and they did! Very pleased. Almost $12 in groceries. Theyve kept me as a long time customer after that.

My wife was accused of shoplifting while she was still shopping in the store all because she was using a reusable bag! They went way out of line...both owners and a manager basically rushed toward her and humiliated her and asked for their merchandise back in front of all the other shoppers. When she told them it was a shopping bag and not her purse they did apologize, but that doesnt take back what they did.

Grocery outlet has a great, yet always rotating selection of healthy food at crazy low prices. Lots of gluten free, organic, and whole food options in fresh, frozen and shelf varieties. The store is not pretty or even inviting. The staff is friendly. If youre not familiar with the shopping center, its not the best at night. Daytime feels safe but its pretty seedy at night.

Most recent visit I was disappointed this location no longer has the drawing for Gift Card based on your purchase receipt This indicates trouble with stores financials. The vibe in the store isnt a positive one.
