I have to admit Im a little surprised reading some of the other reviews. I found the store to be almost immaculate, very well stocked, and an excellent choice of produce and meat/seafood like many or most others here. However, I have to disagree with the reviews about customer service. During my last visit, I found the store quite busy and although every checkout wasnt open, there was sufficient to handle the crowds. I mean if they bring EVERYONE up to open all the counters who will work the rest of the store? People need to understand they cant just work 80 people on one shift...the store must meet its customer service needs but still maintain a reasonable payroll expense or theyd need to increase prices to offset the labor. That being said, I was greeted, employees were talking to each other but it didnt bother me, and notably many employees offered to help me in some form: to out my groceries on the belt, to carry out my groceries, and even to help load my groceries as they collected carts...DURING A HEAVY DOWNPOUR OF RAIN! Im sure Ill have a bad encounter someday but just as quick as we all are to jump on social media and rant about a bad experience or service as soon as it happens, make sure to do the same when you receive great service. Thank you Stater Bros. for being my hometown supermarket!

We recently moved from IL to CA and I have to say Stater Bros is superb compared to any grocery stores we had in IL. The produce is excellent along with great selection. Also the meat and fish taste so much more fresh. I had to give this store a 4 instead of a 5 because of the long check out lines and some (not all) of the immature staffing. During peak times they will only have one fast line open and 2 regular lines. A majority of the check out staff are immature employees that seem more focused on chatting amongst themselves, and talking about other employees, than focused on the customer, they barely say "hello". Tip to the manager: have a team meeting on professionalism in the public workforce!

I love Stater Bros and will drive well out of my way to shop there. We recently moved to Grand Terrace and I was very happy that a Stater Bros is located just down the street; however, my dreams have been steadily crushed each time I go in. The store is very clean and always well stocked, but I hate being at the checkout. I am never spoken to because the cashiers and baggers are always speaking to each other, usually bashing on another employee behind their back. I usually leave frustrated or angry. After todays experience, I will just go to a different location.

This is the flagship Staters location. Its relatively new and very clean. This location has more variety than others such as cases rather than single bottles of the Coca-Cola made with real sugar rather than high fructose corn syrup. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Generally there are enough registers open, but at times it could be backed up. If youre in the area Id rather go to this location than the one in Colton.

Another time Ive been disappointed in the produce dept. Went in today to get some fruit and fresh veggies. There only 5 cucumbers to pick from and they were shriveled up. When I asked if they had more the guy said no, he seemed almost embarrassed by the selection they have. Yes the store is clean, yes the people are friendly, but the produce and fish counter leave wanting somewhere else to shop.

This Stater Bros. is only a few years old, so it is very clean, bright, and spacious inside. The people working here couldn’t be more helpful as well. It has almost everything you could ask for in a supermarket. The deli and bakery have good variety too. Haven’t bought too much meat here however, but it looks stocked. Also, have to mention the convenience of the Chase bank branch inside.

Checkout clerks should talk less with the box people and maybe we would not have someone elses merchandise as well as our own when we get home. Making another trip back to return items that we did not pay for. They almost did not charge for a 36 pack of beer on the bottom of the cart, but my husband is honest and told them about it.

Compared to the old location this particular Stater Brothers is night and day. Everything is so new and looks way better than it was when this store was located down the street. All of the workers are more than willing to help and definitely know where to send you should you be looking for anything in particular.

I work for stater brothers and we take great pride in having excellent customer service. One of their managers didnt even greet me or ask how my day was when I went through her line. I get things get busy and stressful sometimes but that was ridiculous

Nice place, great staff, and the meat selection is always fresh (99.9/100 usually fresh). Its a bit expensive compared to other stores and the store down the road in Colton is a bit cheaper sometimes.

This is one of the newest stores. Its large and has a great selection of produce and vegetables. Theres also a bakery and deli. Great prices and the employees are knowledgeable and helpful.
