"Theyer only going to be ready tomorrow" she apologised. me: "Whaaaaaaaat?" After having my eyes tested at Sears and purchased my frames from Lenscrafters, I still needed to buy the lenses. Since I wasnt purchasing the frames from Sears, I was greeted with a look of reproach and told that they were going to charge me R220 for the lenses, plus $25 for shipping. Furthermore the salesman said it would take 10 business days to fulfill the order. Lenscrafters gave me a quote for $175 and a moderate look of reproach when I suggested going somewhere else. I was convinced I could find lenses somewhere within my budget. Site for Sore Eyes is AWESOME! The saleslady was nothing short of amazing. She complimented my frames multiple times saying that they dont have frames like that and was totally understanding that I had chosen frames I like the most, elsewhere. She quoted me $80 for my lenses with $50 for the anti-glare. I was thrilled with the price and also the fact that they could have my glasses ready the following day, given I was expecting to wait 2 weeks. On top of that she STILL gave me a $30 discount. $100, a done deal. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Affordable, customer service second to none, I walked out happy. I will certainly support this store for many years to come, and hope you do too!!

Needed a progressive lens prescription filled. I got excellent quality lenses (Kodak Brand Lens). Progressive lens can be a very hard prescription to get filled and done right. So far, my lens prescription is working out excellent. The glasses have very thin lightweight high tech plastic lenses with a non-reflective coating which looks extremely good with my semi-rimless style frames. I have only gotten compliments from everyone. My vision after getting used to the progressive lens is great. They have a big field of vision and dont stress my eyes. I cant recommend these lenses any higher. Customer service was some of the best I have received and I will come back here to this store for any future glasses and examinations. Jenny is excellent and one of the nicest persons youll every meet. The Kodak Brand lenses are superior and much better quality than my previous glasses filled at a discount box store (which I had to return because of poor quality). Dont understand some of the negative reviews, this store is a gem and has a high quality handsome frame selection along the superior Kodak Brand lenses. The pricing at this store is fair and competitive with any other store. I would recommend this store for anyone needing any type of glasses, examination, and contact lenses.

The doctor is friendly and they have a good frame selection. However I only needed an exam for contacts. Their $69 "comprehensive" eye exam doesnt include a contact exam so it ended up being twice as much. They also apparently only recommend daily (1 day wear) contacts which are pricier. I was trying to save money by going here but ended up dropping over $200 anyway. And then they accidently charged me twice for the contacts without notifying me. Waiting on the refund but that was still pretty annoying. Might come back here if I need frames but if you need an affordable contacts exam you might want to consider shopping around.

I am awfully frustrated. I ordered my (and paid for) contact lenses over 3 weeks ago and was told then that they would be ready to pick up within a week (i.e., 2 weeks ago). I have heard nothing from this Site for Sore Eyes office, and every time I call, there is no one there who picks up the phone. They dont even have an answering machine for crying out loud. If they want one, I have an extra answering machine in my office I can give them! I would just like to be able to pick up my contact lenses that I have paid for.

Usually, the saying "you get what you pay for" holds true. The less expensive an item is the cheaper the product. In this case I was charge alot of money for my glasses, when the glasses I ordered from them did not work, they had an issue with my optometrist. When I had an exam by their doctor he stated there was nothing wrong with my doctors prescription, they tried to charge me again. "Jenny" is not your friend, unless you have cash and dont mind getting bent over.

I was very happy with the selection of frames and the service. Unlike with the Berkeley store, I didnt have to wait to be served, and found ample onstreet parking. Because I was getting bifocals, there was a delay in the delivery of the glasses, but I was given an extra pair of readers to compensate for the inconvenience and wait. The clerk also offered to drop the glasses at my home, but I found the location delightful to visit, so picked them up myself.
