I understand this place was once owned by a different party, but as of August 2015 I have to tell you that this is the single best optometric shop I have ever been to. The exam I had was so thorough. I was getting work glasses, and Dr Woo actually set up a computer at the right height and distance and put sample glasses on me to make sure that they were right for was I personally needed them for. I have been going to optometrists for a very long time, and nobody has ever been that thorough before. The prices on the frames are excellent and they have a good variety. But the kicker was this week when I took a pair of my son-in-laws glasses in to get them repaired. They need to be sent out and it will take a week, and because he does not have a spare pair of glasses, they actually hunted down another frame his lenses fit into and gave us those to use as a loaner pair until his can be fixed. There are not enough good things I can say about this place. It is the best.

I have never had an eye doctor be so thorough and help me out so much with my contacts before. I started needing a prescription for distance and when reading. When I wore the lenses for distance though I could not read my phone. I also have a stigmatism in one eye that needs correction but not the other. I ended up choosing one brand of lenses for one eye and another lens brand for the other. I also was recommended to try wearing a lens for distance only in my dominant eye. Now if I am going hiking, skiing, or other distance activities I wear both lenses for distance and if I am doing groceries, shopping or running errands I just wear one lens in my dominant eye so that I can still read. The doctor and staff were very patient and determined to get me a solution that worked and provided comfort and great vision! So happy and thankful!

I love efficiency and this place is efficient. I have a frame Im fond of; unfortunately, most places dont carry it. So I buy the frame online. My online frame provider of choice was offering an excellent deal on a frame & lenses combo purchase, so I only came to Site For Sore Eyes for the relatively inexpensive eye exam ($54 as of this writing). They inquired (politely) whether they could match the online competitor. Of course, I entertained their request thinking to myself: if they matched it, I would get warm fuzzies for keeping the money local and still getting a great deal; if they couldnt, I still had a pretty good deal online, warm fuzzies aside. Well, they matched it! Money stayed local, I got the warm fuzzies and a great deal. Win win. The eye doctor (Dr. Woo) was very attentive and thorough.

I wear contact lenses almost all the time, and just needed an inexpensive pair of backup glasses. I always dread getting glasses - I usually feel like Im getting ripped off and overpaying for something I dont really want or use much. Here, I was listened to, got what I wanted at a really great price and was in and out of there quickly! The glasses were ready in just a few days, were done right and I was on my way - thanks!

Ok, so my boyfriend just assumed he didnt have vision insurance instead of actually double checking AFTER we got home selecting/paying for glasses. We called back the next day and they said it was no problem and they would do an adjustment. So nice about it! Also, the woman and man who helped with our glasses were so nice and knowledgeable! They picked out a great pair. Cant wait to pick them up : )

I phoned store for questions regarding deals online. The store clerk, 1)gave me an attitude just because he was unfamiliar with the deals, 2) made me wait for 5-10 min while he was researching it online, and 3) hung up on me after I told him to wait b/c I was looking at other coupons I had questions about. I may recommend site for sore eyes but not this store.

Horrible, horrible, horrible place. Run by an unpleasant, threatening crook. Stocked with cheap POS frames and sub-standard lenses. Hours are never consistent, store is dirty, and prices are outrageous. Avoid this place at all costs.

I had an excellent experience. Dr. Shah was very professional and conscientious. The staff was friendly and helpful. This is the most cost-effective eye exam Ive ever had.
