Fail, fail, and fail. Ford Warranty services or lack thereof. The red tape of requiring Techs that they be able to recreate a situation that happens only in the rarest of times(extremely dangerous loss of power while accelerating), deems them worthless. If you cant touch the truck without a computer telling you a code, then what good are you as mechanics/service? What good is Ford warranty services if they dont have the good sense to just fix it based on my word as a man honest top paying customer(we own several F150s). Dont wait for it to fail Ford. And since thats your MO, you fail. Horribly. Last Ford truck we buy for this company while I have a say in it. The easiest fix couldve kept us buying new trucks every year. Looks like Toyotas n Chevys here on out. Yelp, here I come. PS-the one thing that Service supposedly fixed, was not fixed(door panel). The panel started rattling a week later and was loose from door hardware that was installed backwards or not at all. You guys fail.

I called around different Ford Dealers, shopping for a car, and i decided to speak to one of the sales people. The guy was so charming and nice, listening to everything i asked for, so he said yes yes come over we have the same exact color, same exact style and model, and well sell it below invoice pricing. Well the story didnt work out the way i was told. As soon as i walk in there, the guy comes out with his sheet, and started giving me random pricing, well buddy i dont need to negotiate pricing , all you have to do is get the car out for a test drive, and the price we had offer, and thats it, he goes back and forth, well this option costs this much, that option costs extra, so all the bs, so i decided to just leave, and this sales guy had the guts to call me and say you wasted alot of my time, and not only that, that the sales guy lost another potential client. I said i am glad you did loose it.... very terrible service.

This is our second vehicle from Journey Ford and we drove all the out there from Concord. I went to two other dealerships (Walnut Creek Ford and Future Ford). They were not horrible, but I was amazed that they didnt know much about the cars we were looking for. 3 things really impressed me about Journey Ford. 1 - They have product specialists (not sales guys) that have no other responisibilty other than to eductate me about the car. The Product specialist (Will) spent 40 minutes with me going through every detail after I bought the car. He even synched my phone for me. 2 - They gave me more for my trade in that it was worth. It was not even running and they gave me $2500 for it, they even sent a driver to Concord and picked up the car! Wow! 3- They offer free tires for life and make owning (and buying) a car really, really easy. 5 stars from me great job! Tom & Shelly Hogan - Concord

Took our Navigator in for service, I made the appointment at 5:58pm the night before thinking I would have to wait a day or two. To my surprise they were able to take the vehicle the next day. Roger was our service advisor and called us after lunch to let us know the vehicle was done but he did have some items to discuss with us regarding our vehicle. GULP! My thought was the normal take it in for an oil change and leave with a $1000 bill. When we arrived our car was pulled up ready to go. Roger showed us some items that were issues and covered under warranty. The parts were ordered and now all at Journey Ford, we are scheduled to take our car back next week and actually I am not cringing about going.

Run dont walk away from these scumbags. They are sneaky, and ruthless, and dishonest. I could go into more detail but why bother. I now tell everyone I know looking to buy a car NOT to use Novato Ford. The sales manager Dwayne is uneducated and downright rude. With a scumbag manager, you know the sales teams will be the same way. And forget about trying to negotiate, they stonewall saying that is the price and they cannot move; then you leave, and then they call you fifty or sixty times harrassing you. Ask them to stop calling, they wont. You will not get a good deal if you buy a car here. Stay away from these scumbag used car salesmen.

I was shopping for a specific pre-owned vehicle, and was given the run-around. The salesman deployed all the tricks ("I need to talk to my manager" "I need you to fill out and sign this consent to have your credit checked before I can show you the car" "the car is not here on this lot but they can bring it over") in the end I walked out after being accosted by a man I can only assume was the sales manager who felt my polite refusal to play their games was "giving the salesman a hard time". It seems from below that there is a split in reviews between a good service department and a bad sales department.

I have bought or leased all of my cars (4) from this dealership for 11 years. Todays Escape, Fusion, or C-Max are not your Fords of yesteryear. These cars have beautiful designs, abundant technology, and have provided my family with practically repair-free vehicles for over a decade. We currently average 63 mpg on our commuter cars. Lastly, the deals you can get at this dealership are nothing short of awesome. See Amir, the salesman I have worked with for 3 years. If you finance your purchase or lease agreement through Ford Credit, Toyota wont be able to touch the deal youll get.

I had a great experience with Journey Ford. I drove two hours down to the dealership to look at a beautiful white Ford Fusion. I worked with Will who was very informative and very pleasant to work with. I drove the car and fell in love. I had looked at a couple but Will, Glenn and Justin worked out a deal that I just could not pass up. They even drove it up to where I live which is 2 hours north of Novato. As a first time car buyer they made it very easy and also worked with me to make sure I got into the car of my dreams! Thanks guys!!!! I love my car!

DO NOT USE. I strongly suggest not using this dealership. While looking at a used car they sat another customer next to us who they claimed was going to buy it "that second". After refusing under heavy pressure to buy, we left. Of course, the car did not actually sell. Next, we went looking at a different dealership in SF. Novato ford actually called over to them and told them they could not do business with us because we were "their" customer after we told them no, no, no. Expect about a million phone calls too. Absolutely terrible.

We purchased our car here before it changed its name. At that time the Sales service I received was very good as I was very happy the purchase. Since then I have been back for service. I feel the work they do is great. Even so the service dept communication with the customer could be better. I hope they are planning to install a carport near the service drop off area. This way durring rain or supper hot days customers can drop off or pick up there vehicles comfortably.
