On the evening of Dec. 4 2009 my husband and I were buying a new toilet. We were in the store on the asile for about 15 min debating between two toilets. Then we hear HEY get out of there you cant be there whats wrong with you people" ...excuse me??? Someone had closed the asile off to use the fork lift on the other side, but no one had said anything to us. We didnt even realize it until we were yelled at. SO.we left and went to Lowes and got the same toilet, and customer service for 10 bucks less. I live within walking distance of Home Depot, but I will be driving all the way to Lowes from now on.

Most pathetic and irresponsible store. My blind installation was taken up by there vendor for measurement and installation. First they screwed up the window size measurement and after reorder and asking for exedetite, the store doesnt even respond to calls. It seems there vendor is cheating or doing something fishy.. or i cant really understand why they will do mistakes like reversing the width with length for one of the windows out of 4 windows in a row in one room. Very bad customer service. takes 30-40 mins to connect to someone in the store. Be careful when you order here.

I want to commend Kassandra for both her professional and personal help in ordering blinds for my home. She was extremely knowledgeable and efficient in discussing options and processing the final order and installation. She answered very detailed questions and offered great advice. I was really impressed with her expertise and also her kind and friendly manner. I left feeling that there was a responsible agent backing my order and that she very much cared about the quality of my experience.

Extremely bad experience. Ive been coming to this store for past one and a half months and spending over an hour here, bury nothing gets done here. Finally when I wanted my money back, the still made me run around. Pathetic store, pathetic service, horrible employees. Plus on top of that, they dont have anything stocked. They make your wait for over half an hour and then come back saying they ran out of stuff. Avoid this store like plague. Id say avoid Home depot altogether.

Terrible customer service, I couldnt find anyone in lumber for 15 minutes. A million carts with go-backs all over inside the store yet the customer carts are a hundred yards out in the parking lot. Construction workers go by fractions and inches not decimals their Lumber is very hard to understand and if you do the math from the decimal you do not get a width that actually exists. They need to get with the American measuring system.

I spend thousands of dollars a month at home depot. When I need to do a return or exchange I am on the job and do not have time to wait for someone to assess the validity of my return or discuss weather an employee is at lunch, came in early, or anything else besides "heres your money back." Because of my experience at the Newark home depot every future purchase I make for a job will be made at somewhere other than home depot.

Worst expirence ever, orodered a refrigerator in the store, and when they send it to me is in a completely different box, and is missing a piece. They said that they can replace it in 48 hours, I called, and visited the store three times. It was not a big problem, they only need to send me the missing piece, but they just couldnt. Bad customer service, angrey customer, never shopping big appliances in here.

The people who answer the phones cant even figure out how to transfer a call to another dept. Got hung up on 4 times in a row by 3 different people with repeated button mashing. So retarded. If Ive already done your job and provided you with the SKU#, anyone who picks up the phone should be able to say yes or no if its in stock. Did aliens take over this store?

very bad experience there. The stuff are very unfriendly, even hostile. They went out of their way to make the shopping experience difficult. Especially if you want to buy gift cards from this particular store, you are treated like a criminal convicted by the stuff there. Thumb down and will never step in this store ever again!!

BEWARE OF THIS STORE.... The manager Julie and the employee are not helpful.....They did not accept returns on discounted items. The manager refuse to accept the return since they said discounted item cannot be returned/refunded. I went to Union City,CA Home Depot and without any questions they accept my return.

Waited over 30 mins to get a piece of 2x4 cut. There was nobody at the cutting station, and several employees walked by asking if I need help-- I said yes, and they said they would call someone to help. Nobody ever showed up though. After waiting 30 mins I decided to just go to Lowes.

Suzanne in outside garden was great! I was looking for some plants and not only did she help me find what I wanted she showed me various colors too. However when I went inside to look for a vent hood for over my stove I was simply pointed to an isle and I had questions.

I was at the store to get Plaster and was told to go down the incorrect aisle. I I was told to initially go to aisle number 20 but actually the plaster I think wad on aisle number 2. Otherwise getting out of there was quick and easy at the self check out.

This location is probably the best Home Depot that Ive been to so far. I got very good directions from the front desk to where the items I was looking for. Prices were the same as Amazon and better than Walmart.

Terrible service, employees are nowhere to be found and when you actually get one they direct you to the wrong department. All the stores are the same way, this place is a joke, dont waste your time

This is not a full size Home Depot. Home Depot is always a crapshoot depending on which employee you get, but my experience here is never been perfect.
