The worst thing about this particular WalMart is the other customers, and the amount of them. It is always PACKED. It would be packed if only *one* family member from each household came to shop, but instead *every* member of the extended family comes to shop and they travel in very large, slow clumps. It is impossible to view shelf items or get around the store. In addition, every small child w/in earshot is yelling, or crying. Its like the gathering point for all kids who misbehave. Some just yelling at the top of their lungs, for their parent or at them. It is the worst, most stressful experience just trying to collect your crap so you can get out. I tried going late, on a Sat. night, but clearly Im not the only loser w/nothing better to do on a Sat. night! It was still packed w/all of the same. No wonder the staff seem miserable. WalMart isnt known for being the employer of choice plus they have to deal w/all the rude shoppers there! People dismantle the store and dont pick up after themselves, when they drop something, etc. The bathroom was the most trashed, disgusting thing Ive ever seen! The customers that can create those conditions and leave it like that are animals. What I saw was unconsciounable. Im positive no one gets paid enough to clean up after other people like that. Disgusting. The night manager was really crabby, barking at people. I probably would too if I had to spend a whole shift there. Shopping in that store is the worst experience, ever. There are only a few things that I need there that are at a price I can afford, so fortunately I dont have to go more than once/twice a year. I wish it were open 24hrs. Id go in the middle of the night just to avoid the crowds & the many screaming kids. If you must go, be prepared for hoards of shoppers oblivious to anyone around them, and bring ear plugs...

This is probably the dirtiest, most crowded and understaffed Walmart Ive ever been to. I live in Mountain View and often find a lot of good deals by the Walmart corp. here. However, it is ALWAYS packed and yet even though it seems to have plenty of business, there is never enough cashiers to check out with. The staff is always pretty rude and when approached, they definitely have the air of "I was busy." There is hardly any variety in the type of person this Walmart employs as it seems to be employed with a lot of slow and impolite older women (at least every cashier seems to fit this description). The only exception Ive experienced here is the helpful older lady at the fabric section of the store. She was very courteous and helpful. However, true to the store being understaffed she was not attending this counter solely and it took her around 10 minutes to arrive to assist. Providing customer service to this counter also seemed to aggravate her manager, as it was pretty apparent the manager at the time wanted her to be working on something else. The store attitude of this Walmart definitely match the appearance. It is in serious need of an update & cleaning. Even though the deals here are better, I am more inclined to go across the street to Target or even drive to Redwood City to go to K-mart. My message to the managers of this store would be to hire a variety of employees (age, gender & general personality type), have a major clean up and re-paint of the store & reorganize the entrance and layout so that maneuvering through the store doesnt feel like trying to cut in line at an amusement park.

My nearest Walmart is about 45 minutes away, so I try to call ahead to see if an item is in stock (especially for things like DVD titles.) When I called this morning, the operator picked up the phone after 10 rings, transferred me to the appropriate department, let the phone ring about 15 times, and then I was bounced back to the operator who at first didnt remember me (from 1 minute ago?!) She then tried to transfer me again, hoping someone would pick up the phone this time... ring, ring, ring, ring, ring . . . the phone actually rang 40 to 50 times (no joke) and I waited because this was starting to get amusing. Whats funny here, is that the operator figured out a way to prevent my call from bouncing back to HER again!.. and they say all Walmart employees are dumb; not this one!! Finally, I could tell (from a slight pause in the rings) that my call had been transferred somewhere else. And then: ring, ring, ring, ring, ring... about 20 times and a guy finally picks up. Who is he? The guy in PHOTO!!! Can he do a stock check on a DVD title? NO!!!! So whats his advice? "Call back in an hour or so." Oh, boy, this was so much fun. *sigh*

I live in Sunnyvale, I normally go to. The Mal-Mart in Milpitas, but since I have been having a bit of trouble with my car I decided to go to the closer one in Mountain View. I went to get a stroller for my kid. The stroller isle was in shambles, all the boxes were opened and every single stroller had missing parts, wheels, handles, cup holder ect. I found a store associate and told him about the problem, he said it wasnt his department... I understand but call someone who is. He refused. So I went back to the isle and found a stroller in an open box, missing the wheels, I took the box to customer service and tried to get them to look in the stock, they wouldnt, kept telling me that whatever was there is what they had. I tried to explain to them that their stroller isle looked like a tornado had hit. Stroller without wheels, wheels and cup holders scattered all over the place. I am a bit disappointed in the Walmart and the type of customer service given by the employees. I left Walmart and found the same exact stroller somewhere else and SAVED $15 in the process. I will not be returning to this Walmart, EVER.

I was in the parking lot my car was having issues. I poped off the radiator cap(there is a reason it say dont open hot) I took 210 degree spray of coolant to the face. So I went to the pharmacy to find burn treatment. I couldnt find any. So I stood patiently in line. When I got to the counter. I asked where I could find the burn cream. The lady asked if I was here for pick up. I said no and then repeted the question. She said how do you spell that. I spelled it for her. She typed it in. Then said that there was no one here with that name for pick up.. !!@#$%^!!! Are you #in kidding me. I ask for some one eles to help me. The guy who looks like the manager came over. And I once again explained what just happened. And that I need some burn cream spray or what ever you stcok. He had a very hard time understanding the words I just burnt myself badley and need some burn cream. Once he understood what I was looking for he pointed in a nonspecific diretion. And said that way some where.

Every time I go here I never check my receipt until one day I checked because I had nothing to do and I noticed that they charged me 2 different items twice. I called the store and all they did was to tell me to go back< I live 20 min. Away> so I did not go back the same day because it was late night. The next day I went and they did no refund my money because I needed to go on the same day of purchase. Couple of month after, I went again this time I checked my receipt and again one item was charged twice. It was on black Friday, so I did not wanted to wait in line for over an hour for them to say that they couldnt do anything. If you go to this location, which I do not recommend! Please check your receipt right away. Right in front of the cashier. The door people check the receipt to make sure that we dont take extra stuff why dont they also check if we are paying for extra stuff.
