So today I took my daughter to look at some kittens because we are convinced to adopt one. We were the first family their when Dee. (Worker at Cat at the Studio) was putting the kittens in the kennels. My daughter found a kitten she really liked and we were asking Dee some questions to get the adoption going. During this process, a 2nd family come in and like the same kitten my daughter like. Dee (Cats at the Studio) started helping out the 2nd family. I had no issue with it untill she completely ignored my family for over 30 min. My wife finally asked Dee (Cats at the Studio) for the application and what the process would be since the two families are interested in the same Kitten. Dee (Cats at the Studio) then said that the Kitten would go to the 2nd family. This was very disappointing for my family. What ever happen to fist come first serve or going though the application process to find the best home for the kitten? By the way, as we where waiting for Dee (Cats at the Studio) to stop ignoring us, we learned that the 2nd family had 2 dogs they had just adopted and had never been around cats. And had a son that was allergic to cats. You would think that this would raise a red flag! This information leads me to think that Dee (Cats at the Studio) was racial profiling since the 2nd family is Caucasian and my family is Hispanic. Thats right! It was my daughter first experience with racisissim! *Shame on Dee (Cats at the Studio) for braking the law by racial profiling! *Shame on the 2nd Family for going along with Dee (Cats at the Studio) and pretending like nothing happened! *Shame on Magan (Petco Store Manager) for not doing anything about it after it was reported!

I was very upset that they took over four hours to clean my dog. I waited over three hours and called them. They tried to tell me it will take up three hours for grooming. It should not take over an hour to 2 hours to groom an animal a specially when you have a appointment. I feel this is bad business. Also due to the fact they have a law suit against them for killing a dog in there care. Not a smart move Petco...

The staff is always very helpful and courteous. The store is usually very cluttered though. All shopping floor space is used as their receiving areas for their merchandise. It seems like they have no storage area, always behind stocking the shelves or they receive non-stop shipments of goods. Whatever the reason, it would be nice not having to navigate around pallets of merchandise while traversing the store.

Received a phone call half an hour before my appointment time, canceling my appointment because their groomer would not be coming in. Despite the offer for a free groom in the future, I still felt this was very unprofessional conduct, especially from an established company.

Every time I have shopped at this PetCo I have had wonderful service. The staff are always friendly and willing to help. The shelves are always fully stocked and I have always found exactly what I needed. Keep up the good customer service!

I use to shop here , but wouldnt anymore the customer service had gone downhill in my opinion,and there are other stores that are customer friendly more so then this one, noone likes to be talked down to especially when you are the customer.

I took my two 8 yr old labs to Petco for grooming and deshedding. They did a great job. Paid attention tho their ears and some skin issues. They did an excellent job for half of what I used to pay elsewhere.

Moorpark Petco is the best! The staff are always helpful and enthusiastic. I have never had a negative experience and I have been shopping at Petco in Moorpark on a weekly basis since the store opened.
