We went into the store to look around with our childern. My brother first noticed that the goldfish that are in with the turtles were too large. This was causing the turtles to chase and bite the fisb but they were too large to actually eat them. My children and husband were very upset as well as I was. My husband told the employee that this was cruel to the turtles since they were frantically trying to eat as well as causing the fish undue suffering even if they were food. The employee told my husband that it was fun for the turtles though and he didnt care about the fish. What a shocking attitude towars animals from a pet store employee!!! Food animals still require a bit of care and concern and should never be tortured before being eaten. We will not be shopping at Pet Extreme anymore. I am writing this review from inside the petsmart across the street which as it turns out has better prices, more selection and friendly employees.

I dont know what happened with these other reviewers but I got excellent customer service in the fish area. Greg helped me and he is very knowledgeable. Ive been to all of the other fish stores in the area and when I listen to Greg my fish and corals have flourished where other pet stores have given me some bad advice :( All the employees have been friendly and helpful every time Ive been there. My only complaint is that I would like a better selection of fish but their corporate office only allows them to order from a limited selection. If youre looking for more exotic items check out Seven seas aquarium on the corner of clovis and shaw. Mark has a great selection.

This is the worse groomer i have ever taken my pet in 13 years. He used a wrong size blade on her side for a cut before releasing what he did. I had to take my pet to another groomer to fix his mistakes. Her hair was cut crooked, he never did her anal glands and did not trim her nails correctly. Beware of this husband/wife team which were the only groomers in the Clovis Calif. store. I had an 8 am appt. , he took in other dogs before finishing mine, 3 hours later. Most incompetent groomer or person I have ever had to deal with

I was disappointed when I stopped by this store. The scale near the salon was out of order and the selection was very sparse. They do have an extra large fish supply area and a do it yourself dog wash, which is a wonderful idea. Prices are higher here than similar pet stores in town.

my big dog lilly actually let her cli[p her nails without a sedative. I was amazed. And she was so beautiful and clean and she knew it. It was so cute to see her have that little skip in her walk again. I will take her back soon for a bath.

Store good but website page is the most useless thing!! Cant even bring up any item... Not looking for the manufacture which that what bring up.Im looking for item like (air pump,air stone...) Which it always say nothing found

Oscars have ick. When that and another issue was brought to attention the staff was rude and uncaring for the pets well being. I will never shop here again. Oh. A good $5 more for anything n this store. --dmcdem

Very friendly staff, knowledgeable about their products, super clean especially for a place that allows pets inside, doesnt smell funny like most pet stores. Wide variety to choose from. Will shop here again.
