This is the smallest, most of dated Safeway Ive found in Silicon Valley. Its old, selection is limited by the small store size and the staff just doesnt seem energetic. The ambience of the whole place just feels like it is ready to close at a moments notice. Convenience is the only reason to go here. If you are looking for a nice clean Safeway, drive a few minutes away to the Campbell store for a much better experience.

Its a decent Safeway which is making strides in modernizing. I do like the remodel and the new full service meat department. However, the deli is lacking in variety, and there is no self-service checkouts, which would have been very convenient. No Starbucks too, but thats understandable given their small amount of space. Nevertheless, its close by and the employees are mostly friendly.

Would not accept out of state ID, because they suspected they were all fakes. I am 26. This was at Christmas when people from out of state would be visiting their families. The "customer service" was terrible. I typically receive good service here, but the manager and cashier were very rude.

This store has just been brought up to the same levels as many other more modern Safeways. It features a full service butcher, an expanded deli, a wonderful floral shop and a better layout. The employees seem to like it too: they are all pretty excited to be working there.

Very friendly cashiers, but management cant seem to figure out you need more than 1 of them working at a time. Instead of opening more lines when they are busy they will close a check stand and make customers wait 10-15 minutes to checkout.

Love their new grocery section, the store has been remodeled this year and everything is so much nicer! I just wish they had an in-store bakery. The staff is outstanding, efficient and always helpful and kind.

I love the staff here. They are wonderful, helpful, knowledgeable staff. The store is simple to navigate and when I struggle to find something, they are always very well staffed. Love my local Safeway!

Small old school Safeway. (Maybe 4 stars for the area since its Los Gatos, but its still tucked away in a rural neighborhood). The lines at Safeway are always terrible.

Make sure to check the expiry date on food you buy from here. More than once I came across expired milk here.
