Nice old-school bike shop in downtown Long Beach. Looking more like an auto shop than a bike store, you know their focus is going to be on raw craft rather than style and frills. They do sport a nice inventory of bikes, some at impressive sale prices as well. They have a ton of accessories, but you have to be careful with what you get on the low end of things. I purchased a tire pump from here to keep at home, within 2 weeks the pump was leaking air at the attachment valve. Very annoying, minus one-star. Everything else has been wonderful from this shop. My tires/tubes wore out and I was in a rush to have them fixed, LBBS was the only place that had both and would install them for me. The job was done in less than half an hour and I was on my way with nice new tires. They might not be the best bike shop in Long Beach, but they sure get the job done and do it quickly/properly.

There is not a more rude guy than this Carlos anywhere, I have bought 3 bikes and been in the store numerous times in the last few years, he never says hello, thank you, or goodbye. For some reason I just realized it today for the first time and am very angry about this guy. Unless you speak spanish go somewhere else. This man knows NOTHING about retail sales and service. Never a smile, just a poor sour old man that seems to have real issues and he got to me today, the last day I will ever set foot in this dump.

I dont know what Jack has against Carlos.... This bike shop is down to earth and Carlos gave me exceptional advice, service and follow through! I got new tires and a"tunes up" Chain cables etc. and Carlos replaced my brake cables free of charge, I felt that he took great care of my bike, it had been out in the weather far too long and really needed some TLC, and it runs like a champ! This is one of the great things about living in a City like Long Beach! We get great old school places like this!!

Poor customer service. Their door posts business hours as 10-6 Monday-Friday. I was there at 1120 and their doors were still locked. People were inside and saw me, and they put their hand up(I dont know if they were waving) . They couldnt even bother to come to the door to greet me or tell me what was going on even after I knocked. They lost my business.

Horrible service the old lady doesnt know anything about bike and the fat lazy dude cares more about filling his pockets then helping people with there bike issue will try to sell you over price stuff that isnt even the right size for your bike.

This guy is a truly low-rent racist piece of filth, starting flame wars on youtube with his REAL identity. Choose a professional if youre looking for a quality bike, or if youre not trying to give money to a drug front.

Bad repair. My chain was broken, he "fixed" it for $10 but didnt thread the chain through the gears right. The tech who actually fixed it later said it could have caused big damage, I got lucky. Not going here again.

Totally agree with Jack. If you are in need of service, this is not the place to go. He tries to sell me more parts than I need and he overcharges for it all. What a rip off. Never again.

This is a great little bike shop. Carlos is really friendly and the entire staff is great at helping people find the perfect bike.
