Nicole was fantastic on my first visit to the Stand. I never owned a bike and she guides me patiently to choosing the right one and fitting it to my height and arm length. The staff is extremely chill and friendly. Can get free air fills on your wheels. Since I have been using my bike daily, I lost one of the pedal reflectors and Nicole promptly replaced it for free!! The Price is on the higher side but not crazy, and you get excellent quality and assistance for what you pay. 5 stars (and more if I could). Please consider opening a store in awesome SF / Bay Area!! Kudos

Nicole, Evan and the rest of the folks at The Bicycle Stand take the rude, bike-snob stereotype that plagues a lot of Long Beach bike shops and completely turned it on its head. They are kind, helpful, proactive, informative and most importantly, cyclists and bicycle enthusiasts - they even have a group ride on the first Saturday of every month. I would send anyone to The Bicycle Stand with the utmost confidence that they will be taken care of, whatever level of knowledge or experience they may have. Do yourself a favor and stop by!

Fantastic people and service. Every person at the shop is fantastic. Tons of bike knowledge, and theyll take the time to break it down for you if you ask, but not even a hint of condescension, and they work with your goals and price point. They built up a gorgeous Rivendell from the frame up for me, but they also helped me resurrect a 15 year-old mountain bike as a cheapo grocery-getter, and theyre putting together a bombproof steel wet-weather bike at a super-reasonable price point.

They are the best! If you have any bike questions, bike problems, or just need an awesome bike they are the place to go! Everyone is beyond nice, and everyone knows their stuff. We have purchased three Linus bikes from them and couldnt be happier. They will work with you to make sure your bike is perfect, and spend the extra minute to make sure you are getting exactly what you need. You would be foolish to even think of getting a bike from somewhere else.

My friend and I came down when they opened and they were extremely helpful. He was looking for some padded/bib shorts because his regular shorts werent doing it for him on our long ride. While we were there they were able to do a quick adjustment on my chain ring. While my friend sized his shorts they answered some questions about their showroom bikes and I even test road one. All around great shop, helpful crew; I would definitely recommend a visit.

Lived in LB all my life and have never experienced a business this well developed around customer service. What ever level cyclist you are, when you leave this shop you feel and know this is your shop. While traveling cross country I called them to help get a replacement bike as I was struck by a car with a total loss to my bike. Long and short of it the got what I needed and shipped to me within a couple of days. Thanks everyone at The Bicycle Stand.

I totally agree with the other positive reviews of this shop. As soon as you walk in someone comes up and wants to help you. They are friendly, competent and go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied and happy. I cant recommend this shop enough. Yesterday I went in to Jones bicycle shop and bought several items It was such a bad experience I took everything back today and gave my business to this great shop.

Today I have popped my tire so I go over town and back to find a bike shop, I find this place and give them a chance, the sell me Walmart quality for 8$, Im already pissed from commute so I just buy it, I ride around for a measly 10 minutes and realize they sold me a tire with a hole in it, no my rim didnt pop it, it was on the face of the tire. I cant go back because they are now closed

Awesome place. Staff is the best. They are welcoming to everyone regardless of how deep the patron is into bike culture. They know their business and will help you find the bike thats best for you based on your needs. They also do great service work and are happy to answer questions and dish out advice. Seriously, i could never go to another bike shop.

Best bike shop around David, Chad or Evan and Nicole are awesome super friendly and really knowledgeable about all types of bikes from vintage road bikes to the most modern road,track,mountain or anything with two wheels. I race and ride like 300 plus miles a week and I will only let this mechanix touch me bike... oh and the prices are solid

Best bike shop in Long Beach. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly with no elitist vibe what so ever. They have everything from 1950 era vintages to brand new top of the line bikes. I ordered a bike with them that was not at the shop and they were quick to contact me as soon as it was ready. Will recommend to friends.

This is a bicycle shop like no other in long beach . The kind considerate people running it will assist your bicycle needs with educated care . They are super nice . I went to 12 bike shops from the NP bch , Huntington, All over LB , but when I came here I just knew this was where I wanted to buy . I highly recommend them .

Just moved to this area not long ago,i was riding my bike and i noticed my crank was coming undone,i stopped by cause it was close to me,they quickly tightened them with no charge,ive been to other places that charged,im definitely making this my go to place for my bike needs

Without a doubt the nicest bicycle shop that I have been in southern California. Friendly people and a nice atmosphere. Mechanics that dont make you feel like a dumbass. Everyone has that yes I can do that attitude . I would recommend this place to anyone.

Little shop, big help. I go there every time I cant figure out how to fix something myself and they always give me advise for free. If I dont have the tools or the ability to fix it they get it done quick and for a good price.
