Dont believe the HYPE! the owner (I believe) is the only knowledgeable person there but carried on like a used car salesman. Young mechanic (at least thats what he claimed to be) must have been stoned because every time I asked for something he would ask the other mechanic what I just asked, then when asking the price for a part with the sticker being on the box he gave me wrong prices three times. This bike shop really sucks. I dont know what the last guy was talking about. At least the Asian guy who was helping me was not helpful at all. He was very argumentative and would not try to think outside the box. He was also very pushy in selling me a new bike and was not willing to work with me on reusing my old bike when it was completely functional. If you do go to this bike shop, please avoid this chubby Asian guy who wear eyeglasses. He would probably sell you a bike when you are only looking for a new tire. I have a 15 year old bike and was considering to either revive the old bike or get a new single-speed bike. I explained to the guy that I was thinking about reviving my bike since my bike was completely functional and its good for the environment. He totally dismissed my idea and was very argumentative about what I wanted to do. I was not a bike professional. Perhaps, if what I plan to do doesnt work, he should suggest alternatives. Instead of working with me, he pushed me to get a new bike. I was pretty upset talking to him and told him that I will go to Helens Cycle since they were much more professional. He then told me that they trained two guys who are working at Helens Cycle now. At first, I was very surprised since the people I dealt with in Helens Cycle was nothing like him. However, given how unprofessional he is, I am not surprised that good staff would leave this bike shop and work at a more professional environment.

This shop i give ten stars always on top get your bike update with them actually show me need to upgrade like a car wear in tear to day I have ride to Irvine to my boy shop time go on to Huntington beach on to Newport beach yes so nice to take a bike ride 2015 DEC to day over 3000 miles thanks I appreciate all Mr Carlos Guy V. For the best quality, everyone knows to take their bikes to The Temple City Bike Shop. I always receive the best bike maintenance and top components here. You will always see two top high tech mechanics who are always here to help you with all repairs. My bike is always fixed properly and safe to ride. Ive been here three times and the staff are all friendly and helpful. Theyre also out to genuinely help you, not just sell things you dont need. When I wanted to adjust the brakes on my old beater, one of the guys told me about an "old school" tool that was cheaper and works better for my type of bike. Theyre hard to find but the owner personally searched for one and ordered it for me. This bike shop has saved me time and money, and its always a pleasure to go there. Highly recommended.

The shop owner and his staffs are skillful, honest and helpful. I bought my very first carbon road bike here at a great deal and also had my aged mtn bike tuned/upgraded here. Bothe bikes turned out to be in great performance. I strongly suggest this bike shop to all cyclers, even you need to drive more distance like I did.

I got there 20 minutes before closing because I bought a lemon final sale and rushed to the TC Bike Shop. Ron was so helpful. He was able to repair my bike last minute for a very reasonable price. This is the place Ill be going next time I need anything bike related. They nailed that first impression.

Everyone is very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. Bought a hard tail and these guys will fit you in a bike accordingly. Also had my road my fixed. They did an incredible job and cleaned it. 2 thumbs up.

Nice shop, but a bit pricey. Found the same bike for 1/2 price at a big brand store. Friendly service and lots of cool bikes if you dont mind paying full price.
