If I could put NO STARS I would. My mom went into the LAFAYETTE.CA Verizon store 3 weeks ago and spent 5 HOURS in the store. The account was in my dads name so she went in there to take his name off. He passed away in October. They were supposed to transfer the name on the account and then she ordered a new phone. The phone was being shipped out and she was told she would receive it in 3 days. The order never got shipped. The account never got transferred. The phone never got ordered or shipped. Now I have been on hold with customer service trying to get this account name change and the phone reordered. I have had a great experience with Verizon and with the Brentwood, CA Verizon store BUT The VERIZON STORE IN LAFAYETTE, CA is HORRIBLE. They are incompetent and not trained well. She dealt with multiple sales people when she was in the Lafayette Verizon Store during that grueling 5 hours. I am trying to remain calm and pleasant with customer service now as I try to get this resolved. I know it isnt the person I currently have on the phones fault. Awwwwwwww!

Would not come here again. Sales man was nice but apparently dishonest. When I get home I look at my invoice and there is an extra "set up and go" fee of $20. He charged this for simply turning on my new iPhone. He did not migrate any information or do anything beyond this. He did not inform me of this either. He just said I had to pay "sales tax." When I got home and looked at my invoice which I could not see as I signed since I signed a pad with room enough for a signature, there it was, the extra fee. So unless you like hidden fees and being lied to, I would avoid this store. My guess is they will leave a comment trying to act like theyre hear to help and would like to talk to me. But unless they refund that fee, its all BS.

WATCH OUT - THESE GUYS ARE SCAMMERS!! If you want to overpay for an iPhone 6S by over $200, come here. They charged my family a secret "deferred payment plan" of $50 per month on a phone WE OWNED for years. These guys have been ripping my family off for hundreds of dollars for YEARS. The staff are IDIOTS. They dont even know what "LG" stands for. They know nothing of the services Verizon provides. DO NOT SHOP HERE. They are scamming people!

Dropped my phone in water over the weekend. They had me up and running with a new phone within an hour. I called ahead and made sure they had a suitable replacement, then they analyzed the best way to replace my phone. Thank you for being open on Sunday
